Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Learning Consultant
Frame your credentials for U.S. specialty occupation
Your Australian three-year bachelor's in education, instructional design, or a related field is recognized as equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree. Prepare a credential evaluation letter before outreach so employers can confirm E-3 eligibility without delay.
Target employers with existing LCA filing history
Focus on consulting firms, large tech companies, and healthcare systems that have filed Labor Condition Applications before. These employers already understand the E-3 process and won't need convincing that sponsorship is straightforward.
Search verified E-3 roles through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer. Migrate Mate surfaces roles from employers already open to E-3 sponsorship, cutting the time you spend filtering out non-sponsors.
Clarify the LCA wage requirement early
The DOL requires your offered salary to meet the prevailing wage for your specific job title and work location. Raise this in negotiations before signing an offer letter so neither side is surprised during LCA certification.
Address dual-intent concerns at the interview stage
The E-3 is a nonimmigrant visa, so interviewers may probe your long-term intentions. Articulate a clear reason for the role and your ties to Australia, even if you plan to explore permanent residency options later.
Time your consulate appointment around contract start dates
E-3 visa interviews at Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth consulates can book out several weeks. Confirm your appointment availability before committing to a start date with your employer to avoid breaching your offer letter timeline.

Find Senior Learning Consultant JobsSenior Learning Consultant E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Senior Learning Consultant jobs with E-3 sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search for Senior Learning Consultant roles where employers are already open to E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job listings and cold-messaging HR teams, Migrate Mate focuses on roles tied to verified E-3 filing history, so your applications go to employers who already understand the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Learning Consultant role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, when the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in instructional design, education, organizational development, or a closely related field. If the job description accepts any degree or lists a degree as preferred rather than required, that weakens the specialty occupation argument. Ensure the offer letter and LCA reflect the specific degree requirement.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Senior Learning Consultant roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you can apply at any point in the year and start within weeks of a consulate appointment. The H-1B requires registration in April's lottery with a roughly 25% selection rate, and approved petitions don't start until October 1. For Australian professionals, the E-3 is a direct path the H-1B simply can't match on timing.
Can I switch employers or projects on an E-3 as a Senior Learning Consultant?
You can change employers, but each new role requires a fresh LCA filed by the new employer and a new E-3 visa stamp if you travel internationally. If you're changing roles while remaining in the U.S., there's no mandatory gap in employment, but the new LCA must be certified before you start work with the new organization.
