It all started with an idea at Block in 2013. Initially built to take the pain out of peer-to-peer payments, Cash App has gone from a simple product with a single purpose to a dynamic ecosystem, developing unique financial products, including Afterpay/Clearpay, to provide a better way to send, spend, invest, borrow and save to our 50+ million monthly active customers. We want to redefine the world's relationship with money to make it more relatable, instantly available, and universally accessible.
Today, Cash App has thousands of employees working globally across office and remote locations, with a culture geared toward innovation, collaboration and impact. We've been a distributed team since day one, and many of our roles can be done remotely from the countries where Cash App operates. No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.
The Role
We are seeking a strategic, innovative, and collaborative Growth Marketing Lead to join the B2B Commerce Marketing team. Designed to drive results for Afterpay and Cash App, B2B Growth Marketing sits at the center of Commerce Marketing and acts as an extension to various functional teams, such as Industry Marketing, Content Marketing, Partner Marketing and more. This team constantly partners with Product, Data Science, Sales, and Account Management to generate qualified leads, identify growth opportunities, and execute audience-specific nurture campaigns.
As the Global Lead of B2B Growth Marketing you'll oversee the team responsible for ABX, Demand Generation, MarOps, and Lifecycle Marketing. You'll set the strategy to deepen vertical expansion, drive engagement with our marketing content, and accelerate automation using various AI tools.
We're looking for someone who can bring both sharp execution and big-picture thinking—someone who can build and run a paid performance engine that delivers against immediate business needs, while not being afraid to test new formats/channels in support of a long-term strategic vision. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Commerce Marketing at Block.
You Will:
- Manage the individuals responsible for ABX, Demand Generation, MarOps, and Lifecycle Marketing, as well as external agency relationships.
- Own the core paid performance program across all channels and manage the Growth Marketing Opex.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and day-to-day optimization of paid performance campaigns designed to drive measurable incremental growth.
- Develop an audience-first approach to our performance media that is rooted in targeting strategy, intent signals, and performance insights.
- Challenge the status quo by proactively identifying testing opportunities, experimenting rapidly with new and existing tactics, and turning successful tests into scalable acquisition engines.
- Build future-proofed roadmaps in collaboration with teams such as Product and Data Science - harnessing experimentation, automation, and AI to remove blockers, speed up execution, and improve performance.
- Collaborate closely with Content Marketing and external agency partners to support the development and execution of insight-led briefs that align with business priorities.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving media, commerce, and marketing landscape—bringing fresh ideas and emerging trends into our strategy to stay ahead of the curve.
You Have:
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience leading Growth Marketing at Commerce platforms, Fintech, SAAS, or related industries.
- Skilled at influencing cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful business outcomes.
- Proven track record of driving new leads and reducing churn via lifecycle retention strategies.
- Experience with managing Marketing Opex and contracting external agencies.
- You're solutions-oriented and highly collaborative, acting as a business owner to drive results.
- You have the mentality that no job is too big or too small.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship in Growth Marketing Lead
Frame your degree against the role
U.S. consular officers assess whether your specific degree field supports the Growth Marketing Lead title. A degree in commerce or communications maps cleanly; a general business degree needs a cover letter connecting your major coursework to growth marketing functions.
Target companies with active LCA filings
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for employers who have filed LCAs for marketing management roles. These companies already understand the E-3 visa process and won't need educating during salary negotiations.
Get the job description written correctly
The offer letter and job description must state that a bachelor's degree in a specific field is required, not preferred. 'Preferred' wording can trigger a specialty occupation challenge at the consulate, so ask HR to revise before the LCA is filed.
File your LCA before booking travel
Your employer must obtain a certified LCA from DOL before you can apply for your E-3 visa stamp. Standard LCA certification runs around seven business days. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so nothing falls through between offer acceptance and your consulate appointment.
Clarify remote and hybrid arrangements upfront
If you'll work remotely from a different state than your employer's headquarters, the LCA must reflect the actual work location. Mismatched locations between the LCA and your I-94 entry record can create compliance issues when you renew.
Renew before your current E-3 expires
E-3 renewals require a fresh LCA certified for the renewal period. Start the renewal process at least 60 days before your visa stamp expires to avoid gaps, especially if your growth marketing role has shifted title or scope since the original filing.
E-3 Visa Growth Marketing Lead: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Growth Marketing Lead jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Search Migrate Mate to filter Growth Marketing Lead roles by employers who sponsor the E-3 visa. Most general job boards don't flag E-3 sponsorship separately from H-1B visa, so you'll waste time screening manually. Migrate Mate surfaces roles where the employer has demonstrated familiarity with Australian visa pathways, cutting the research time significantly.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Growth Marketing Lead role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as marketing, communications, or business. The key is the job description: it must establish that a degree is a minimum requirement, not merely preferred. Roles with broad responsibilities spanning multiple unrelated disciplines can draw scrutiny, so a tightly scoped job description strengthens your application.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Growth Marketing Lead positions?
The E-3 is far more predictable for this role. H-1B requires entering a randomised lottery with roughly a 25% selection rate, meaning most applicants can't start until October even if selected. The E-3 has no lottery, no annual cap pressure, and you can apply directly at a U.S. consulate in Australia with a certified LCA and a valid job offer, often starting within weeks.
Can my employer file the E-3 paperwork without an immigration attorney?
Technically yes, but the LCA filing and consulate preparation have specific formatting and timing requirements that create risk if mishandled. A rejected LCA or incomplete DS-160 delays your start date. Many Australian professionals use a dedicated filing service rather than full legal counsel to manage costs while still ensuring the paperwork is done correctly the first time.
