Company Description
BEUMER Group is an international leader in intralogistics, specializing in conveying, loading, palletising, packaging, sortation, and distribution technology across a wide range of industries, including airports, e-commerce, warehousing & distribution, and bulk material handling. We offer the right solution for nearly every logistics challenge.
As a family-owned company, BEUMER combines tradition with innovation. We are proud of what our employees create each day. Integrity, Inspiration, Quality and Teamwork!
Job Description
BEUMER Group is a third-generation, family-owned global leader in intralogistics and material handling. Our North American marketing team supports five lines of business across the United States, Canada, and Mexico: Logistic Systems, Airport, Minerals & Mining, Product Business, and Customer Support.
We are looking for a Field Marketing Specialist to serve as the marketing point of contact for assigned lines of business. This is a campaign ownership role. You will help build the annual marketing plan for your business units, work directly with sales leadership to align target accounts and priorities, drive the campaign strategy behind our trade shows and customer events, and act as the day-to-day contact for your business unit stakeholders.
We are a small team supporting a large region, so alongside the business units you own, you will step in to support campaigns and events across other parts of the business when the calendar demands it. The right person takes real ownership of their own area and still works as part of one marketing team.
Job Responsibilities:
Campaign planning and execution:
- Help build and maintain the annual marketing plan for your assigned business units, aligned to their commercial goals and sales priorities, and submit it to the Director of Marketing for approval.
- Define target audiences, account lists, and segmentation for campaigns, working from CRM and market data.
- Translate business unit priorities into campaign briefs, and drive them through to execution across email, web, social, and paid channels.
- Review, approve, and schedule campaign content produced by the marketing team to ensure it is on message, on brand, and on time.
- Track campaign performance against agreed measures and report results back to business unit leadership.
Content and communications:
- Lead regional content development for your business units: identify the stories worth telling and turn project wins into case studies, customer references, and campaign material.
- Review and approve social copy, press announcements, and customer-facing communications for accuracy, message, and brand before they go out.
- Draft and submit speaking abstracts and conference session proposals, and support internal presenters in shaping their content.
- Support media placements with trade and industry publications, including contributed articles and editorial calendar planning.
- Brief and direct writers, designers, and external partners on longer-form assets such as white papers and technical content, and review that work for technical accuracy and message.
Trade shows and customer events:
- Own the marketing strategy for trade shows and customer events in your business units: objectives, target accounts, pre-show campaign, on-site messaging, and post-show follow-up.
- Partner with sales leadership well ahead of each show to agree on which accounts we are pursuing and what we want them to do next.
- Work alongside our event coordinator, who owns logistics, vendors, and booth execution, so that strategy and delivery stay connected.
- Ensure leads captured at events are routed, followed up, and measured.
Business unit partnership:
- Act as the primary marketing contact for your business units across the Americas.
- Build working relationships with sales and business unit leadership and bring marketing into commercial conversations early rather than at the point of request.
- Manage the marketing budget for your business units as the main point of contact, including planning, tracking, and reconciliation against approved spending.
- Coordinate with our global marketing colleagues to adapt corporate campaigns and assets for the North American market.
- Support campaigns, trade shows, and customer events for other lines of business as team priorities require.
Campaign operations:
- Build, schedule, and deploy campaigns in our marketing automation platform, including list management and segmentation.
- Maintain accurate campaign and audience data and use our reporting dashboards to monitor pipeline contributions.
- Coordinate external partners for specialist video and copywriting work as needed.
Compensation Range: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 Annually.
The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
Qualifications Requirements / Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
- 3 to 6 years of B2B marketing experience, with hands-on responsibility for planning and running campaigns end to end.
- Experience working directly with sales teams and being accountable to commercial stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership of trade show or event marketing beyond logistics: strategy, targeting, and follow-up.
- Working knowledge of a marketing automation platform and a CRM, and comfort with audience segmentation and list building.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the judgment to review other people's copy and give clear, constructive direction.
- Ability to get up to speed on technical subject matter quickly enough to review content for accuracy and ask the right questions of engineers and sales.
- Comfort managing a budget, tracking spend and working with purchase orders and invoices.
- Ability to prioritize across multiple business units with different rhythms, and to work independently while supporting a small team.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally for trade shows and customer events.
Preferred:
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, capital equipment, logistics, or a similarly long and technical sales cycle.
- Familiarity with account-based marketing principles and long-cycle pipeline nurture.
- Experience working with trade media, developing case studies, or submitting conference speaking abstracts.
- Experience with Marketo or a comparable enterprise automation platform.
- Experience working within a global organization and adapting corporate programs for a regional market.

Align your credentials to specialty occupation
Your Australian degree must tie directly to the marketing role, a business or communications degree supports most positions, but a general arts degree may not. Get your academic transcripts ready and, if your degree title is ambiguous, prepare a credential equivalency statement before applying.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for marketing titles. Employers already familiar with the LCA process move faster and are less likely to back out after an offer.
Negotiate the offer before LCA timing locks in
The LCA certifies your job title, worksite, and prevailing wage level, changes after certification can require a new filing. Lock in your title, location, and compensation before your employer submits, so you don't lose weeks to an amended application.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to manage paperwork
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This is especially useful for marketing roles at smaller employers who haven't sponsored E-3 visas before and lack an in-house immigration team.
Book your consulate appointment immediately after LCA certification
DOL certifies most LCAs within seven business days. Book your consulate slot the same day certification comes through, Sydney and Melbourne appointment availability shifts quickly, and delays here push your start date further than any other part of the process.
E-3 Visa Marketing Specialist: Frequently Asked Questions
Where can I find Marketing Specialist jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. It filters jobs by employers with a history of sponsoring Australian workers, so you're not cold-applying to companies unfamiliar with the E-3 process. That targeting makes a meaningful difference in response rates for marketing roles, where hiring managers often don't know the visa's advantages over H-1B.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Marketing Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field, marketing, communications, business, or a related discipline. The risk arises when a job description is written broadly enough that any degree would satisfy it, which can undermine the specialty occupation argument at the consulate. A tightly scoped job description tied to a specific degree field strengthens the case significantly.
How does the E-3 compare to H-1B for Marketing Specialist roles?
The E-3 has no lottery, no annual cap, and can be filed year-round, none of which is true for H-1B. For marketing roles, this means you and your employer can time the application around an actual hire rather than waiting for an April lottery result. The employer's cost and administrative burden are also substantially lower, which removes a common objection in marketing hiring where headcount budgets are tight.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA before you start. There's no portability provision the way there is with certain H-1B transfers. A promotion that changes your job title or worksite location may also require an amended LCA, even with the same employer. Plan your timeline so any role or employer change doesn't create an authorization gap.
