E-3 Visa Partner Account Manager Jobs
Partner Account Manager roles at U.S. tech and SaaS companies qualify as specialty occupations under E-3 visa rules, meaning Australian professionals can secure sponsorship without competing in the H-1B lottery. Your employer files a Labor Condition Application before your consulate appointment, and your visa renews in two-year increments for as long as you hold a qualifying role.

At Amazon, data is critical to everything we do, from understanding product inventories across our global fulfillment centers to predicting what products to recommend to customers. Data ceaselessly informs our flywheel, helping us to understand customer needs, onboard new sellers and selection, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Business Data Technologies (BDT) provides trustworthy, intuitive, and cost-efficient solutions for Amazonians to secure, store, analyze, and transform this data at unparalleled scale. BDT owns, develops, and operates Andes, one of the largest data lakes in the world, storing 3+ exabytes of data, read/written to by 100k+ data pipelines, with >60k monthly active users. To do this, we need extraordinary individuals to build the next generation of data analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions for thousands of scientists, engineers, and analysts who rely upon us to get their jobs done.

Key job responsibilities
You focus on the needs of business users as they navigate data from question to insight. You formulate goals and plans for transforming the ways Amazon extracts value from its data through iterative improvements involving AI enablement, process optimization, role guidelines, and org design.
As part of a broader team, you collaborate with other technical program managers to ensure that work in your space aligns with work and plans of other teams across BDT and other organizations. You establish mechanisms for inspection and awareness of progress across cross cutting initiatives.
Data drives your “flywheel”. You analyze data to glean insights that drive experimentation. You leverage data such as service telemetry, user feedback, and industry trends to surface opportunities for improvement. You take what’s proven and partner with Amazon organizations to apply and scale it. You define, implement, and monitor metrics that track your progress.
You partner with Amazon’s business orgs to test hypotheses and deploy AI-based solutions to reduce friction and risk of errors in the ways that businesses use data.
You give feedback on narratives, contribute to strategy (e.g., OP1 planning), set goals, discuss weekly business metrics, and more.
You partner with Amazon’s PXT organization to evolve and optimize roles guidelines and org design best practices to align with the way businesses are evolving their practices around getting insights from their data.
You partner with engineering, human resources, legal, documentation, solution architecture, privacy, finance, and more to optimize usage of the Andes data lake for AI-based methodologies.
As an owner, you hold yourself and partners accountable for the highest quality user outcomes.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Partner Account Manager
Frame your LCA job title precisely
The DOL certifies your LCA against a specific job title and SOC code. Partner Account Manager maps most cleanly to SOC 41-3099 or 11-2022. Ask your employer to confirm the classification before filing to avoid LCA mismatches that delay your consulate appointment.
Target SaaS and cloud companies first
Partner Account Manager roles at software and cloud infrastructure companies are structured around channel and reseller ecosystems, which require the specialized knowledge that supports a specialty occupation argument. These employers sponsor E-3 visas far more routinely than companies in other sectors.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers
Migrate Mate filters Partner Account Manager roles by verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you're applying to companies that have already navigated the process. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you receive an offer.
Document your degree equivalency early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees for E-3 purposes, but consular officers can ask. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-accredited evaluator before your interview so you're not scrambling after the offer.
Negotiate timeline before accepting an offer
E-3 consulate appointments at Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth have variable wait times. Once you accept an offer, your start date depends on LCA certification and appointment availability. Confirm your employer can hold the role for four to eight weeks before you sign.
Verify your employer's E-Verify enrollment status
USCIS requires some employers to use E-Verify for work authorization checks. If your future employer isn't enrolled, ask HR to confirm their compliance approach before the LCA is filed, since gaps here can stall onboarding after your visa is approved.
E-3 Visa Partner Account Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Partner Account Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to search, since it surfaces Partner Account Manager roles specifically filtered by E-3 sponsorship history. Most standard job boards don't distinguish between employers willing to sponsor E-3 visas and those that only hire candidates who are already authorized to work in the U.S., which makes filtering manually time-consuming and unreliable.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Partner Account Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the role requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or a related discipline. The key is that the degree must be a genuine requirement for the position, not just preferred. Employers in SaaS and technology typically structure Partner Account Manager job descriptions around this standard, which makes the specialty occupation argument straightforward.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Partner Account Manager roles?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so Australian professionals can apply at any time of year without waiting for a selection round. H-1B petitions are capped at 85,000 per fiscal year and subject to a randomized lottery, meaning qualified candidates are routinely excluded. For Partner Account Manager roles, the E-3 is a faster and more predictable path to U.S. employment.
Can I change employers or get promoted while on an E-3 as a Partner Account Manager?
You can change employers, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before re-entering the U.S. if your current stamp has expired. Internal promotions to a significantly different role, such as moving from an individual contributor to a director title, may also require a new LCA if the SOC code or wage level changes.
