Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Partner Manager
Frame your CV for U.S. specialty occupation standards
Partner Manager roles must meet the DOL's specialty occupation definition, meaning your CV needs to show a direct connection between your degree field and the role's core responsibilities. Highlight strategic, analytical, and business development functions over general relationship management.
Target companies with existing LCA filing history
Companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications before understand the E-3 process and are far less likely to withdraw an offer due to sponsorship uncertainty. Ask recruiters whether the company has sponsored international hires in partnership or business development roles previously.
Clarify your visa status early in the process
Disclose E-3 eligibility before the offer stage, not after. Employers unfamiliar with the visa often confuse it with H-1B and assume a lottery is involved. Explaining that the E-3 has no cap and no lottery typically removes the most common objection to sponsorship.
Secure an LCA before your consulate appointment
Your employer must file and receive a certified LCA from the DOL before you can attend your visa interview. The DOL's standard processing window is seven business days, so confirm your employer has started this step well before your consulate appointment is scheduled.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to manage the paperwork
Once you have an offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service handles the LCA submission, DS-160, and consulate preparation end-to-end. This removes the compliance burden from your employer and reduces the risk of errors that can delay your start date.
Search specifically for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Generic job boards don't filter by visa sponsorship type, so Australian professionals often waste time on roles that only support H-1B or greencard processes. Migrate Mate surfaces Partner Manager roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship specifically.

Find Partner Manager JobsPartner Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Partner Manager jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Partner Manager roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. General job boards don't distinguish between visa types, so Australian professionals often apply for roles that only support H-1B. Migrate Mate filters specifically for E-3-compatible opportunities, saving you from pursuing employers who won't sponsor your visa category.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Partner Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, marketing, or communications. The DOL scrutinizes roles where the degree requirement is broad or loosely defined. A Partner Manager role focused on strategic alliances, revenue growth, or ecosystem development is more likely to pass review than one framed purely as account management.
How does the E-3 compare to H-1B for Partner Manager roles?
The E-3 is significantly more predictable than H-1B for this role. H-1B requires entry in a lottery with roughly a one-in-three selection rate, whereas the E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap. Both require the employer to file an LCA certifying a prevailing wage, but E-3 applications go directly to a U.S. consulate in Australia, meaning you can often start within weeks of receiving an offer.
Can I change employers on an E-3 if I accept a Partner Manager role and then get a better offer?
Yes, but you'll need to repeat the E-3 process with the new employer. There's no transfer mechanism, so your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need to attend another consulate appointment. If you're already in the U.S. on E-3 status, you'll need to either leave and reenter or file a change of status, which USCIS must approve before you can begin work.
