Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Recruiting Coordinator
Frame your HR credentials for U.S. specialty occupation
Your Australian HR qualification needs to map directly to the Recruiting Coordinator job description. Gather your academic transcripts and any AHRI certifications now, as consular officers assess whether your degree field matches the role.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search DOL's Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data to find companies that have filed LCAs for HR and recruiting titles before. Prior filing history signals the employer understands E-3 visa sponsorship and won't stall during the offer stage.
Clarify sponsorship scope before accepting an offer
Some employers confuse E-3 sponsorship with H-1B visa and assume a lottery is involved. Clarify upfront that the E-3 requires only an LCA filing and consulate appointment, so HR teams don't mistakenly deprioritize your candidacy.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service after your offer
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. This avoids the delays that come from employers filing LCAs without prior experience under DOL's FLAG portal requirements.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions as a recruiter
Consular officers sometimes probe recruiting professionals on long-term U.S. plans, since the role involves deep employer relationships. Have a clear, consistent answer about your intent to return to Australia after your assignment ends.
Align your job title with USCIS specialty occupation criteria
Generic titles like 'Coordinator' can attract requests for evidence from USCIS if the job description lacks degree-level specificity. Ask your employer to describe measurable HR responsibilities in the offer letter that demonstrate a bachelor's degree is genuinely required.
E-3 Visa Recruiting Coordinator: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Recruiting Coordinator jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. You can filter by job title and visa type to surface employers who have sponsored E-3 or similar work visas before, saving you from applying to companies that won't engage with the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Recruiting Coordinator role qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
It can, but the job description has to require a bachelor's degree in a specific field like human resources, business administration, or psychology. A role described as requiring only general experience or any degree won't satisfy the specialty occupation standard. Your employer's offer letter and the LCA must both reflect degree-level requirements to hold up at the consulate.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Recruiting Coordinator roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so you're not competing against tens of thousands of registrants for a limited number of slots the way H-1B applicants are. For a Recruiting Coordinator role, the E-3 is almost always the faster path, with most applicants getting a consulate appointment within weeks rather than waiting years for a priority date or lottery selection.
Can I switch Recruiting Coordinator employers while on an E-3 visa?
Yes, but each new employer has to file a new LCA and you need a new E-3 visa stamp if you travel internationally before starting with them. You can begin working for a new employer once the LCA is certified and your visa reflects the new position. There's no portability rule like AC21 on the E-3, so don't resign until the new LCA is in hand.
