Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Warehouse Lead
Frame your qualification for specialty occupation
U.S. consulates scrutinize whether Warehouse Lead roles meet the E-3 specialty occupation standard. Document how your supply chain or logistics degree directly underpins your supervisory duties, not just your general work history.
Target employers with LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway for certified LCAs under SOC codes for first-line supervisors in warehousing. Employers who've filed before understand the process and won't back out when paperwork starts.
Get your Australian credentials formally evaluated
A three-year Australian degree in logistics or operations management is generally accepted as equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's, but your employer's E-3 petition is stronger with a formal credential evaluation from a NACES-approved agency before the LCA is filed.
Negotiate LCA filing before giving notice
Your employer must file and receive a certified LCA from DOL before your consulate appointment is scheduled. Confirm this step is in motion before you resign from your current role in Australia to avoid gaps in your timeline.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Warehouse Lead sponsorship involves prevailing wage determinations and DOL certification that trip up employers unfamiliar with the process. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the LCA, visa paperwork, and consulate preparation so nothing stalls at the offer stage.
Clarify E-Verify enrollment status with your employer
Some large distribution and logistics employers are federally contracted and must use E-Verify. Confirm enrollment status during the offer stage so there are no onboarding delays after your E-3 is approved and you arrive in the U.S.

Find Warehouse Lead JobsWarehouse Lead E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Warehouse Lead jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Most general job boards don't filter by visa type, which makes it hard to identify employers willing to sponsor. Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals seeking E-3 sponsorship and surfaces Warehouse Lead roles from employers who have demonstrated willingness to file. Searching there saves significant time compared to cold-applying and asking about sponsorship later.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Warehouse Lead role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is structured and documented. Warehouse Lead positions that require a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or industrial engineering can qualify. Roles framed as general labor supervision without a degree requirement typically don't. The job offer letter and LCA must clearly establish the degree requirement and its connection to the duties performed.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Warehouse Lead roles?
The E-3 is significantly more accessible for this role. There's no annual lottery, no cap to exhaust, and you can apply at any point in the year once you have a certified LCA and a job offer. H-1B requires winning a lottery with roughly one-in-four odds, and registration only opens once a year in March. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is the more direct path.
What happens to my E-3 status if I change employers mid-role?
Your E-3 is employer-specific, so changing employers requires a new LCA and a new visa stamp or change of status filing. You can't simply transfer it. If you're already in the U.S., you'll need your new employer to file before your current status expires, or you'll need to apply at a consulate in Australia for the new position.
