E-3 Visa Revenue Cycle Management Jobs
Revenue cycle management roles qualify as E-3 specialty occupations when the position requires a bachelor's degree in health information management, business administration, or a related field. Australian professionals can secure E-3 visa sponsorship without competing in the H-1B lottery, and the visa renews in two-year increments for as long as you hold a qualifying role.

Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
Australian qualifications in health information management or business administration satisfy E-3 visa specialty occupation requirements, but your resume needs to map your degree and experience to U.S. billing systems like ICD-10, CPT coding, and denial management workflows that hiring managers expect.
Target health systems with established visa programs
Large hospital networks and national physician management groups file LCAs regularly and have HR teams familiar with the E-3 process. Searching OFLC disclosure data by SOC code for medical records and health information roles shows which employers already sponsor this occupation.
Clarify specialty occupation status before accepting an offer
Not every revenue cycle role qualifies for E-3 status. Positions requiring a specific bachelor's degree field qualify; generalist roles where any degree suffices do not. Confirm the job description explicitly states a degree requirement in a defined discipline before your employer files the LCA with DOL.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork
The LCA must be certified by DOL before your consulate appointment, and the DS-160 and supporting documents must align precisely with that certification. Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the entire process from offer to consulate appointment, reducing employer friction and filing errors.
Address the nonimmigrant intent question directly at interview
E-3 is a nonimmigrant visa, so consular officers assess whether you intend to return to Australia. Revenue cycle professionals can demonstrate this through Australian professional registrations, property ties, or documented career plans that don't depend on permanent U.S. residency.
Plan your renewal timeline around contract or employment cycles
E-3 renewals require a new LCA filed with DOL and an updated visa stamp at a consulate. Revenue cycle contractors working on fixed-term engagements should initiate renewal discussions with their employer at least 90 days before their current status expires to avoid authorization gaps.
E-3 Visa Revenue Cycle Management: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find revenue cycle management jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Search Migrate Mate to filter revenue cycle management roles by employers with active E-3 sponsorship history. Most standard job searches don't surface visa sponsorship status, which means you spend significant time applying to roles where the employer won't file an LCA. Migrate Mate surfaces employers already familiar with the E-3 process, which shortens your search considerably.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a revenue cycle management role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3 visa?
It depends on how the role is defined. A position requiring a bachelor's degree in health information management, healthcare administration, or a related field qualifies as a specialty occupation. A generalist operations role where any degree satisfies the requirement typically does not. The job description must specify a degree in a particular discipline, not just any bachelor's degree, for the LCA to be approved by DOL.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for revenue cycle management professionals?
The E-3 has no annual cap and no lottery, so Australian professionals can apply at any time of year and don't face the roughly 25% selection rate that H-1B applicants do. The employer still files an LCA with DOL and the role must qualify as a specialty occupation under the same standard, but the absence of a lottery makes the E-3 a far more predictable path for both you and your employer.
Can I change employers mid-year on an E-3 visa in a revenue cycle management role?
Yes, but your new employer must file a fresh LCA with DOL and you'll need a new E-3 visa stamp before starting work, or file a change of status if you're already in the United States. There's no portability provision equivalent to H-1B's AC21 rule, so your authorization with the previous employer ends when you leave. Build adequate transition time into any job change plan.
