E-3 Visa Implementation Consultant Jobs
Implementation Consultant roles qualify for E-3 visa sponsorship as specialty occupations requiring a relevant bachelor's degree, and unlike H-1B visa, there's no lottery or annual cap to worry about. Australian professionals in ERP, CRM, and software deployment can secure two-year renewable status with a U.S. employer willing to file a Labor Condition Application.

Overview
Intuit is revolutionizing the mid-market with the Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES). We are seeking a Partner Implementation Consultant to act as a strategic mentor and technical architect for our Value Added Reseller (VAR) partners. Your mission is to bridge the gap between complex IES features and firm workflows. By driving Time to First Value (TTFV), ensuring data integrity, and empowering partners through a "Train the Trainer" approach, you will transform IES into a high-efficiency engine that serves as the bedrock for our clients' long-term growth.
Responsibilities
- VAR Enablement, Certification & "Train the Trainer": Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the IES platform and accounting standards. Manage the enablement, education, and certification plans for VAR service offerings. Establish a short-runway to get partners to onboarding independence, ensuring they can deliver high-quality service while continuous education takes place.
- Strategic Feature Implementation: Drive firm implementations for new features quarterly, ensuring existing customers are seamlessly onboarded and adopting new capabilities as they are released.
- Escalation & Prioritization Management: Expertly prioritize work and technical escalations. Comfortably use your voice to escalate firm needs to leadership and product teams, while accurately self-evaluating what can be solved independently versus what requires escalation support.
- Implementation Shadowing & Strategic Support: Work closely with VAR clients and their Intuit CSMs. Directly support a subset of VAR clients, allowing partner employees to shadow your workflow to understand the technical and consultative nuances of the service.
- Performance Monitoring: Track VAR client credentialing progress and provide internal leadership with data-driven insights on program and platform improvements. Provide firms with clear status updates on their progress.
- Strategic Feedback Loop: Partner closely with Senior Leaders in Service Delivery and Strategy to identify customer friction points. Supply documented recommendations on opportunities to improve product or service workflows to drive better outcomes.
- On-the-Ground Training: Provide direct, "white-glove" assistance and training to VAR teams. This role requires travel 25%–30% of the time.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in high-touch software implementation, management consulting, or professional services (Big 4 experience preferred).
- Accounting Expertise: 8+ years of direct experience in complex accounting for multi-entity enterprises.
- Credentials: Active CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential highly preferred to establish immediate "peer-level" credibility with professional firms and partners.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced expertise in the IES ecosystem, including complex migrations from QuickBooks Desktop or legacy ERPs.
- Project Management: Proven track record of managing multi-party implementations where external consultants or third-party firms are primary stakeholders.
- The "Polish" Factor: Exceptional presence and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive partner dynamics and maintain "trusted advisor" status under pressure.
- Travel Readiness: Requires providing direct, "white-glove" on-the-ground training. Candidates must have the ability to travel 25%–35% of the time to engage directly with firms on-site.

Translate your credentials into U.S. equivalency
An Australian three-year bachelor's degree meets the E-3 visa specialty occupation standard, but your offer letter must reference your specific degree field. Make sure your resume names the discipline, not just the institution, so employers can confirm the degree-to-role match.
Target employers with existing LCA filing history
Search DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway to identify companies that have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for implementation or consulting roles. Employers with LCA history already understand the process, which shortens your path from offer to approval.
Clarify the specialty occupation case before negotiating
Implementation Consultant roles that span multiple business functions can face USCIS scrutiny over whether a specific degree is required. Confirm with your prospective employer that the job description ties the role to a defined field like information systems, computer science, or engineering.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for end-to-end support
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork. The service manages DOL certification, consulate preparation, and document review so filing errors don't delay your start date.
Negotiate your start date around LCA certification timing
DOL typically certifies an LCA within seven business days, but your employer needs that certification before you can attend your consulate appointment. Build at least three to four weeks of buffer into your agreed start date to avoid rescheduling your interview.
Address third-party worksite arrangements upfront
Implementation Consultants frequently work on-site at client locations rather than their direct employer's office. USCIS requires the LCA to reflect the actual worksite, so confirm with HR whether client deployments need additional LCA filings before your visa is issued.
E-3 Visa Implementation Consultant: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Implementation Consultant jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. You can filter by job title, industry, and employer sponsorship history so you're only looking at companies already set up to hire on an E-3. General job boards don't filter by visa type, which means most listings you find won't lead anywhere productive.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Implementation Consultant role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, in most cases. USCIS requires that the position normally requires at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as information systems, computer science, business administration, or engineering. Roles that are narrowly defined around a particular platform or technical domain are stronger candidates than broadly scoped generalist positions. A well-drafted job description from your employer strengthens the case significantly.
How does the E-3 compare to H-1B for Implementation Consultant roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so your employer can file at any point during the year and you can start as soon as your visa is issued. H-1B registration opens once a year in March and selection is random. For Australian professionals, the E-3 is a faster and more predictable path to U.S. employment, with no waiting for a lottery result that may never come.
Can I switch employers on an E-3 while already working in the United States?
Yes, but you need a new LCA certified for the new employer before you start the new role. You can't transfer an E-3 the way you can port an H-1B under portability rules. Your new employer files a fresh LCA and you'll typically need a new visa stamp unless you change status without leaving the country, which requires its own USCIS filing.
