Translate your Australian credentials for U.S. employers
A three-year Australian bachelor's degree meets the E-3 visa specialty occupation requirement, but some U.S. hiring managers don't know this. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before your interview process starts.
Target employers with active DOL LCA filings
Search the DOL's Office of Foreign Labor Certification disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for integration or systems analyst roles. These employers have already run the E-3 sponsorship process and are far less likely to balk at the paperwork.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers faster
Migrate Mate surfaces Integration Analyst roles from employers with verified E-3 sponsorship history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that will decline once they see your visa status.
Prepare your specialty occupation documentation before the offer
Integration Analyst roles can attract scrutiny from consular officers if the job description is too broad. Gather documentation showing your role requires a specific technical degree, including the employer's org chart and a detailed job description, before the LCA is filed.
Confirm your employer's LCA timeline before accepting
The DOL certifies most LCAs within seven business days, but errors in the public access file or prevailing wage level can cause delays. Ask your employer who is handling the filing and confirm they've done it before.
File your full E-3 package through a managed service
Integration roles often involve third-party client sites, which adds complexity to the LCA worksite documentation. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork, including the consulate preparation that catches these worksite issues early.
E-3 Visa Integration Analyst: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Integration Analyst jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Most job postings don't advertise E-3 sponsorship specifically, so filtering by visa type on standard boards rarely works. Migrate Mate is built for exactly this search, letting you find Integration Analyst roles from employers with a verified history of E-3 filings. This gets you in front of companies that already understand the process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does an Integration Analyst role qualify as a specialty occupation for E-3 purposes?
Yes, provided the role genuinely requires a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as information systems, computer science, or software engineering. Roles framed as general business analyst positions, where any degree would satisfy the requirement, are harder to support. The job description needs to tie the duties directly to a technical degree field.
How does the E-3 visa compare to H-1B for Integration Analyst roles?
The E-3 is available only to Australian nationals, but it skips the H-1B lottery entirely. You can apply at a U.S. consulate in Australia as soon as your employer has a certified LCA, rather than waiting for a lottery result in April and an October start date. Renewals are also indefinite in two-year increments as long as you hold a qualifying role.
What happens to my E-3 status if I move to a different integration project or client site?
If your employer changes your primary worksite or materially alters your role, the LCA may need to be amended or refiled to reflect the new location and prevailing wage level. A worksite shift across state lines almost always triggers a new LCA. Flag any significant project changes with whoever handles your company's immigration filings before the transition, not after.
