Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Sales Operations Manager
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Sales Operations Manager roles require you to document that your Australian bachelor's degree directly supports the position. A three-year Australian degree is generally accepted as equivalent, but get a credential evaluation before applying to remove any consular doubt.
Target companies with LCA filing history
Focus on employers who have previously filed Labor Condition Applications for business operations or sales roles. DOL's disclosure data shows which companies have certified LCAs for these titles, saving you from pitching E-3 sponsorship to employers who've never done it.
Separate the LCA conversation from the job offer
Many hiring managers conflate the LCA with a full immigration sponsorship commitment. Clarify early that the DOL-certified LCA is employer-filed but low-cost and non-binding, which removes the hesitation that kills E-3 offers at the final stage.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for the paperwork
Once you have an offer, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. This reduces back-and-forth with your employer's HR team and gets your consulate appointment documents ready faster.
Confirm your employer is E-Verify enrolled
Some states mandate E-Verify enrollment for employers above a certain size. Confirm your prospective employer's status before your offer letter is signed, since an unenrolled employer in a mandatory state creates compliance issues that can delay your start date.
Time your consulate appointment around your start date
E-3 visas are issued for up to two years, but your I-94 admission period is set at the port of entry. Book your Australian consulate appointment at least four to six weeks before your intended U.S. start date to absorb any administrative processing delays.

Find Sales Operations Manager JobsSales Operations Manager E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Sales Operations Manager jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Search on Migrate Mate, which filters U.S. job listings specifically for roles open to E-3 visa holders. Many standard job boards don't flag E-3 eligibility, so you can waste significant time applying to roles where the employer won't support it. Migrate Mate surfaces employers with demonstrated sponsorship history for this role type.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Sales Operations Manager role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position genuinely requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business administration, finance, or operations management. Roles where a degree is listed as preferred rather than required can be challenged at the consulate. A detailed job description tying the duties to your degree field strengthens the application significantly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for a Sales Operations Manager position?
The E-3 is available year-round with no lottery, while H-1B registration runs once a year in March with roughly a one-in-four selection rate. For Australian nationals, the E-3 is almost always the faster and more reliable path into a Sales Operations Manager role in the U.S., since an approved H-1B could take 12 to 18 months from registration to start date.
Can I change employers while on an E-3 as a Sales Operations Manager?
Yes, but you need a new LCA certified by the DOL and a fresh visa stamp before starting with the new employer. Unlike H-1B, E-3 status does not allow portability, so you can't begin work at a new company while the application is pending. Plan for a four-to-eight-week transition window between receiving a new offer and your first day.
