Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Sales Support Specialist
Frame your degree for specialty occupation
Your Australian bachelor's degree must tie directly to the Sales Support Specialist role. A business, marketing, or communications degree strengthens your case. If your degree is in an unrelated field, document how your coursework or credentials map to sales operations functions.
Target employers with LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Labor Condition Application disclosure data to find companies that have filed LCAs for sales or business support roles. Prior LCA filings signal that an employer already understands the E-3 process and won't need convincing to sponsor.
Address the specialty occupation question early
Some hiring managers assume Sales Support Specialist roles don't require a degree. During the offer stage, confirm with HR that the position is posted as requiring a bachelor's degree, this is the foundation of your E-3 specialty occupation qualification and must appear in the job description.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service for your LCA
The LCA must be certified by the DOL before your consulate appointment. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork so your employer doesn't need to manage the DOL submission process independently, which delays timelines.
Prepare your credential documents before the offer
Gather certified copies of your Australian degree transcripts, any professional certificates, and a detailed employment history before you start interviewing. Consulate officers frequently request these during E-3 adjudication, and having them ready shortens the time from offer to appointment.

Find Sales Support Specialist JobsSales Support Specialist E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Sales Support Specialist jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search for Sales Support Specialist roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. Many employers list these positions without explicitly advertising sponsorship, so filtering by companies with LCA filing history helps surface employers already familiar with the E-3 process and willing to support Australian applicants.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Sales Support Specialist role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
It depends on how the role is defined. If the employer requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field as a minimum qualification, the role generally meets the specialty occupation standard. If the job description says a degree is 'preferred' rather than required, that weakens your E-3 case and should be corrected before the LCA is filed with the DOL.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Sales Support Specialist roles?
The E-3 has no lottery and no annual cap, so Australian nationals can apply any time of year without waiting for a selection round. The H-1B requires entering a randomized lottery with roughly a one-in-four chance of selection. For Sales Support Specialist roles, the E-3 is a more direct path because approval depends on your qualifications and the role definition, not on chance.
Can I change employers after starting work on an E-3 as a Sales Support Specialist?
Yes, but you need a new LCA and visa for each employer. The E-3 is employer-specific, so if you change jobs you can't simply transfer your existing visa. Your new employer files a fresh LCA with the DOL certifying the prevailing wage, and you'll typically need to attend another consulate appointment unless you're already inside the U.S. and eligible for a status extension.
