INTRODUCTION
We are seeking a candidate with in-depth experience supporting Patient Access workflows across both inpatient and outpatient settings, with strong knowledge of Financial Clearance processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to real-time eligibility verification, bed management, and service level authorizations, including knowledge of insurance workflows and systems to support prior authorization requirements. Epic Prelude and/or Grand Central certification strongly preferred.
In this role, you will provide day-to-day support for Patient Access business operations while continuously optimizing Epic to maximize workflow efficiency and improve both the end-user and patient experience, recognizing a highly matrixed environment. You will serve as a liaison between end users, operational leaders, IT support teams, and vendors to design, build, support, and enhance Epic solutions in a timely, high-quality manner—triaging and resolving incidents and service requests, troubleshooting workflow and build issues, and identifying root causes and process improvements to prevent recurring problems. You’ll also contribute to project implementations and medium-to-high complexity initiatives by gathering and analyzing requirements, documenting workflows, translating needs into build/configuration, coordinating testing and validation, supporting go-live readiness, and driving post-go-live stabilization and ongoing optimization with minimal guidance. The ideal candidate stays current on industry trends, regulatory and payer requirements, and emerging Epic functionality and third-party solutions, bringing forward recommendations that strengthen compliance, efficiency, and patient access continuity; familiarity with adjacent Epic applications such as Willow, Beacon, Cadence, and/or Ambulatory is strongly valued.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Senior Application Analyst
Translate your Australian credentials before applying
U.S. hiring managers may not recognise three-year Australian bachelor's degrees as equivalent to a four-year U.S. degree. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-approved evaluator before you submit applications so sponsors have no reason to hesitate.
Target employers with active LCA filing histories
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure data for companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for application analyst or systems analyst roles. Prior LCA activity signals the employer already understands the E-3 visa process and won't stall over unfamiliarity.
Find E-3 sponsoring employers through Migrate Mate
Use Migrate Mate to search Senior Application Analyst roles filtered by E-3 visa sponsorship. The platform surfaces employers with verified sponsorship history, cutting the time you'd spend cold-applying to companies that haven't sponsored before.
Frame your job offer around specialty occupation criteria
The E-3 requires your role to meet the DOL's specialty occupation definition. Confirm your offer letter specifies that the position requires a degree in a specific field, not just a general bachelor's degree, before your employer files the LCA.
Request your employer file the LCA well before your start date
DOL certifies LCAs within seven business days under normal conditions, but your employer still needs time to post the public notice and prepare DS-160 supporting documents. Build at least three to four weeks between LCA submission and your target consulate appointment.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork
Once you have a job offer, Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service manages the LCA, DS-160, and consulate preparation end-to-end. This is especially useful when your sponsoring employer has no prior E-3 experience and needs a structured process to follow.
E-3 Visa Senior Application Analyst: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Senior Application Analyst jobs with E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for E-3-sponsored roles in the U.S. You can filter Senior Application Analyst positions by employers with active sponsorship history, which removes the guesswork of approaching companies that have never filed an LCA. Standard job boards don't surface sponsorship status, so you'd otherwise need to ask each employer individually during the application process.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Senior Application Analyst role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes, provided the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as information systems, computer science, or business information technology. The DOL's specialty occupation standard requires that the degree be a normal entry requirement for the role. If the job description says a degree is preferred rather than required, your employer should revise it before filing the LCA, as that language can create problems at the consulate.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for Senior Application Analyst roles?
The E-3 has a 10,500-visa annual allocation that has never been exhausted, so there's no lottery and no multi-year wait. H-1B visa registrations for the same role are subject to a lottery with a selection rate that has been under 30 percent in recent years. For an Australian national, the E-3 offers a far more predictable path: you apply at a consulate after your employer's LCA is certified, rather than waiting to see if your registration was selected.
Can I change employers after starting work on an E-3 as a Senior Application Analyst?
Yes, but the E-3 is employer-specific, so your new employer must file a fresh LCA and you'll need to attend a new consulate appointment or apply for a change of status if you're already in the U.S. There's no portability provision like the one that exists for some other visa categories. Plan for a gap of several weeks between accepting a new offer and being authorised to start, and avoid giving notice until your new LCA is certified.
