Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Servicenow Solution Architect
Gather credential equivalency documentation early
Australian three-year bachelor's degrees are generally accepted as equivalent to U.S. four-year degrees, but some employers will ask for a formal credential evaluation. Request an official evaluation from NACES before your first interview to avoid delays.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Search the DOL's Foreign Labor Application Gateway disclosure data for companies that have filed LCAs for ServiceNow or IT architect roles. Prior filings signal an employer already understands the E-3 process and won't stall at the sponsorship question.
Frame sponsorship as a straightforward employer step
Many U.S. hiring managers conflate E-3 sponsorship with H-1B complexity. Come prepared to explain that the E-3 requires no lottery, no annual cap, and only a certified LCA before your consulate appointment, the employer's obligation is limited and fast.
Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service post-offer
Once you have a signed offer letter, use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork end-to-end. It covers DOL submission, consulate preparation, and document review so you don't risk errors that delay your start date.
Confirm your role meets specialty occupation criteria
USCIS requires a direct connection between your degree field and the ServiceNow Solution Architect duties in your offer letter. If your degree is in a tangentially related field like general IT management, ask the employer to detail specific technical requirements in the job description.
Time your consulate appointment around project cycles
E-3 consulate processing at Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth typically runs two to eight weeks depending on appointment availability. Build that window into your negotiated start date so you aren't pressured to begin before your visa stamp is in hand.

Find Servicenow Solution Architect JobsServicenow Solution Architect E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find ServiceNow Solution Architect jobs that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is built specifically for Australian professionals searching for U.S. roles with E-3 sponsorship. Rather than filtering through general job boards, you can search ServiceNow Solution Architect positions where employers are already familiar with the E-3 process, saving time you'd otherwise spend educating recruiters about the visa from scratch.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a ServiceNow Solution Architect role qualify as a specialty occupation for the E-3?
Yes. The role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a closely related field, and the duties involve applying theoretical and practical knowledge to design enterprise solutions. USCIS and DOL treat this occupational profile as meeting the specialty occupation standard for E-3 purposes, provided the offer letter reflects those technical requirements clearly.
How does the E-3 compare to the H-1B for ServiceNow Solution Architect roles?
The E-3 has no annual lottery and no numerical cap, so you can apply any time of year and start as soon as your consulate appointment clears. The H-1B runs a highly competitive random lottery with an October 1 start date. For Australian nationals in a specialized IT architecture role, the E-3 is a direct, predictable path that avoids lottery risk entirely.
What happens to my E-3 status if I change employers or move to a new project?
Changing employers requires a new Labor Condition Application and a new E-3 visa stamp or change of status filing. Your current E-3 is employer-specific, so you cannot simply transfer it. You'll need your new employer to file a fresh LCA with the DOL before you begin working for them, which typically takes seven business days for standard DOL processing.
