Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding E-3 Visa Sponsorship as a Transporter
Verify your degree meets specialty occupation
A Transporter role qualifies for E-3 only if the employer can show a bachelor's degree in a directly related field is normally required. Logistics management, supply chain, or operations degrees carry more weight than general business credentials.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Prioritize transport and logistics companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications before. Employers already familiar with DOL prevailing wage requirements move faster and are far less likely to withdraw an offer mid-process.
Get your Australian credentials assessed early
U.S. consular officers evaluate whether your three-year Australian bachelor's degree is equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree. Obtain a credential evaluation letter before accepting an offer so it doesn't delay your visa appointment.
Search for E-3 sponsorship roles on Migrate Mate
Filter by role and employer sponsorship history to find Transporter positions where companies have demonstrated willingness to file. Use Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service to handle your LCA and visa paperwork once you have an offer.
Negotiate the LCA filing into your offer timeline
Your employer must file the LCA with DOL and receive certification before your visa appointment. Build at least two to three weeks into your start date to account for DOL processing and consulate scheduling lead times.
Prepare for nonimmigrant intent questions at the consulate
Consular officers assess ties to Australia and intent to return after each E-3 period. Bring evidence of Australian connections such as property, family, or professional memberships alongside your employment documents to support your application.

Find Transporter JobsTransporter E-3 Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find Transporter jobs in the U.S. that offer E-3 visa sponsorship?
Migrate Mate is the most direct way to find Transporter roles where employers are open to E-3 sponsorship. Many logistics and healthcare transport employers are unfamiliar with the E-3 specifically, so focusing on companies with prior LCA or H-1B filing history gives you the strongest starting point for outreach.
How much does it cost to get an E-3 visa?
Migrate Mate's E-3 filing service covers the entire process for $499, including the Labor Condition Application, visa document preparation, and consulate appointment guidance. Traditional immigration lawyers charge $2,000–$5,000+ for the same work. The E-3 has less paperwork than most work visas, so paying thousands for legal help is usually unnecessary.
Does a Transporter role actually qualify as an E-3 specialty occupation?
It depends on how the role is defined. A general driving or delivery position typically does not qualify. However, Transporter roles in hospital systems, specialized logistics operations, or supply chain management that require a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as operations management or logistics can meet the specialty occupation standard USCIS applies to E-3 petitions.
How does the E-3 visa compare to the H-1B for Australian Transporter professionals?
The E-3 has a significant practical advantage: there is no lottery. H-1B selection is randomized and capped at 85,000 annually, meaning a qualified applicant can go unselected for years. The E-3 has a 10,500 annual allocation that has never been exhausted, so Australians who meet the specialty occupation and degree requirements can apply at any time without competing in a lottery.
What documents does my employer need to file before my E-3 consulate appointment?
Your employer must file and receive certification for a Labor Condition Application through the DOL's FLAG system before you can attend your visa interview. The certified LCA, along with a support letter detailing your role, salary, and degree requirement, forms the core of your E-3 application package presented at the U.S. consulate in Australia.
