Hatch is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern. Reporting to the Project Delivery Group, you will support offices globally working from our Tampa, FL office location.

At Hatch, we greatly value in-person interaction and collaboration and are therefore an in-office environment. While flexibility is always provided to work remotely when needed, we encourage our teams to be in the office for most of the time. We encourage candidates to connect with their recruiter and hiring manager to understand workplace expectations and ensure the role aligns with their goals.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or chemical engineering with an interest in controls or computer science
- Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
As the successful candidate, you will:
- Assist Electrical Engineers in preparing engineering calculations such as load flow analysis and short circuit analysis
- Prepare technical specifications for equipment procurement and construction contracts and write reports for power system studies such as arc flash analysis, protective device coordination, and transient stability studies
- Acquire knowledge in power distribution systems, instrumentation and controls, switchgear, stand-by power systems, load and fault current calculations, power flow and short circuit analysis, SCADA and telemetry, lighting systems, and NEC code compliance
- Gain valuable on-site practical experience

- Aptitude for working on multi-disciplinary teams
