Strategy Intern Jobs in Florida: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy intern in Florida?
Strategy internships in Florida require no state-issued license or certification, so the path runs through academics and applied experience. Most Florida employers expect candidates to be actively enrolled in a business, economics, or related undergraduate or graduate program at a Florida university such as the University of Florida, Florida State, or the University of Miami. Competing applicants typically build casework, financial modeling projects, or consulting club experience before applying.
Which companies hire strategy interns in Florida?
Employers hiring strategy interns in Florida right now include HNTB Corporation, ABB, and L3Harris, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Florida's mix of Fortune 500 headquarters, major healthcare systems, and large financial services firms means strategy intern openings appear across multiple industries rather than concentrating in a single sector.
Which Florida cities have the most strategy intern jobs?
Tampa, Palm Bay, and Celebration lead Florida for strategy intern openings. Miami's concentration of multinational corporations, financial institutions, and Latin American regional headquarters drives the largest share of listings, while Tampa's growing healthcare and professional services sector and Orlando's tourism-adjacent corporate offices contribute consistent volume across the state.
Are there remote strategy intern jobs in Florida?
Yes, and more than most fields, since strategy intern work is primarily analytical and desk-based. About 100% of strategy intern openings tied to Florida are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting the role's compatibility with distributed teams. Market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling tasks are the parts of the internship most frequently performed remotely.
How can I get hired as a strategy intern in Florida with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is applying to formal summer internship programs at large Florida employers before junior or senior year. AdventHealth, Carnival Corporation, and major consulting firms operating out of Miami and Tampa run structured intern cohorts aimed at students with limited professional experience. Joining a university consulting club, completing a case competition, or earning an Excel or data analytics certification gives applicants a concrete edge when experience on a resume is thin.
Where can I find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Florida?
You can find and apply to strategy intern jobs in Florida on Migrate Mate, which lists current Florida openings from employers actively hiring right now. Search the listings, find roles that fit your background and availability, and apply directly to the ones that match.
