Strategy Intern Jobs in Indiana: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a strategy intern in Indiana?
The clearest path is enrolling in a business, economics, or public policy program at an Indiana university such as Indiana University's Kelley School of Business or Purdue University's Krannert School of Management, then applying directly to corporate internship programs. No state-issued license is required for this role. Relevant coursework in finance, data analysis, or organizational strategy strengthens a candidate's application significantly with Indiana employers.
Which companies hire strategy interns in Indiana?
Indiana strategy intern roles are posted by BDO, MISO, and Labcorp and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Indiana's concentration of healthcare, manufacturing, and technology headquarters creates a consistent pipeline of strategy intern openings throughout the year.
Which Indiana cities have the most strategy intern jobs?
Indianapolis and Carmel account for the largest share of strategy intern openings in Indiana. Indianapolis anchors the market as the state's corporate headquarters hub for healthcare, finance, and logistics firms, while Fort Wayne and South Bend draw openings from regional manufacturing and insurance employers that maintain dedicated strategy functions.
How can I get hired as a strategy intern in Indiana with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry point is applying to structured university recruiting programs run by large Indiana employers, such as Eli Lilly's summer internship cohorts or Cummins' early-career rotational programs, which are designed for students without prior professional strategy experience. Lateral moves from adjacent roles like market research assistant or financial analyst intern at Indiana-based firms also open the door. Building a case study portfolio demonstrating competitive analysis or business model work gives candidates a concrete edge when formal experience is limited.
