The Department of Electrical, Computer & Energy Engineering (ECEE) in the College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS) at the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) invites applications for a full-time Teaching Faculty position with the Engineering Partnership Program (EPP) at Colorado Mesa University (CMU). This position is based at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and is anticipated to begin in August 2027.
This position involves teaching upper-division undergraduate engineering courses which could include:
- Microelectronics
- Electromagnetic fields and waves
- Senior design/capstone courses
- Power electronics and/or power systems
- Engineering electives aligned with program needs and also available to electrical engineering students
This position has responsibilities for teaching three undergraduate engineering courses per semester. In addition to teaching, responsibilities of this position also include:
- serving on EPP committees
- evaluation activities for program accreditation
- student mentoring and advising
- outreach and recruiting
- professional development

This position is anticipated to be hired at the Assistant Teaching Professor rank; however, qualified candidates may be considered at the Associate Teaching Professor rank.

Since 2008, the University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder) has offered accredited bachelor’s degrees in engineering at Colorado Mesa University (CMU) through the Engineering Partnership Program (EPP). Students spend the first two years taking courses with CMU faculty, and the remainder of the program is taught on-site by CU Boulder faculty permanently based at CMU. Students benefit from:

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- Teach three courses per semester.
