Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Adhere to Federal inspection regulations.
- Safely operate all models of equipment for operational testing.
- Adhere to and comply with all Company, Local, State and Federal Safety regulations, rules, and practices.
- Provide a safe work environment for all Associates.
- Adhere to all State and Local health requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to meet demands of daily production scheduling.
- Perform duties of lower classifications as needed.
- Follow all Plant sanitation guidelines, maintain a clean and orderly work environment throughout the Plant; responsible for sanitation of work areas and monitor the cleanliness of designated areas of the plant.
- Follow and enforce Safety rules, housekeeping, and proper operation of equipment.
- Follow and monitor proper safety equipment usage and safety practices.
- Follow and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and procedures.
- Must know job requirements for all positions on assigned production line(s).
- Complete required daily paperwork.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience with an industrial/commercial electrical background working with high-speed production line(s).
- Knowledge of block diagrams and troubleshoots, layout capabilities, rigid bending new runs, transformers, diagnostic ability, buckets.
- Be well versed in reading, interpreting, correcting, and drawing schematics.
- Must be experienced in the use of all Arc Flash appropriate safety equipment and pass certifications.
- Able to work independently on the ground, on floors, on ladders, on rooftops, etc.
- Detail oriented and willing to work in a team concept.
- Must be able to work with all voltages up to 600 volts.
- Able to work hot/live when needed in wet environments.
- Must be able to stand 100% of shift.
- Must be able to properly lift and carry consistently a minimum of 50lbs.
- Must be able to use hands 90% of shift.
- Requires infrequent overhead and over the shoulder lifting of containers and baskets; and motor skills to meet and maintain speed expected by normal crew output.
- Bending, twisting, and walking consistently throughout the duration of shift.
- Must be mentally alert to perform all assigned work tasks in a manner that assures employees’ personal safety and provides a safe work environment for all employees.
- Mathematical skills to read scales/codes/work orders.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must attend work consistently.
- Ability to make quick and decisive decisions; good judgement and common sense required.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to locate and generate information.
- Display strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction and work in cooperation with others.
Work Environment
Must be able to withstand varying temperatures (34-50 degrees Fahrenheit), a wet and cold environment, constant noise due to machinery and refrigeration fans.
