We are seeking an Associate Endodontist to provide focused, patient-centered care for people with complex dental needs. You will assess patients, diagnose conditions, and deliver endodontic treatment in coordination with referring dental professionals. Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments, review medical records and medical imaging, and document findings using clear dental and medical terminology.
- Diagnose endodontic conditions and perform root canal therapy and appropriate dental extractions using aseptic technique and infection control practices.
- Explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, supporting patient care through respectful client communication.
- Coordinate care with general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, orthodontics, oral surgery, and dental implant providers as appropriate.
- Maintain compliant records and follow HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) requirements and applicable state healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Required: Appropriate endodontic education and licensure for practice in the applicable jurisdiction; strong knowledge of endodontics, anatomy, anesthesiology, healthcare diagnosis, and dental diagnosis.
- Demonstrated patient assessment and patient care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with adults and pediatric patients.
- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry, dental office or dental clinic workflows, medical documentation, and dental terminology; experience with dental fabrication is helpful.
- Experience with electronic records or practice systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.
- Knowledge of general dentistry, pediatrics, medical terminology, and infection control practices is valued.
Pay: $1,500.00 - $6,000.00 per day
