Executive Assistant Jobs in Boston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a executive assistant job in Boston?
Target the Financial District, Back Bay, and Seaport District, where financial services firms, biotech companies, law firms, and major healthcare systems concentrate their administrative hiring. Candidates who demonstrate calendar management at the C-suite level, strong written communication, and discretion stand out here. Experience supporting multiple executives or working across fast-moving organizations also gives a meaningful edge in Boston's competitive market.
Which companies hire executive assistants in Boston?
Boston executive assistant roles are posted by Boston Medical Center, FM, and WTW and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Boston's hiring is spread across large financial institutions, hospital networks, research universities, and the dense cluster of biotech and life sciences firms anchored in Kendall Square and the Longwood Medical Area.

Yes, though with limits, since executive assistant work is often tied to in-person scheduling, office logistics, and direct executive support. About 58% of executive assistant openings tied to Boston are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, with fully remote options most common at tech and financial services firms where the work centers on communications and project coordination rather than physical office management.
