Responsibilities Acute Care
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and annual wellness visits.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
- Develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications within Florida scope of practice.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing.
- Educate patients on preventive care and healthy lifestyle choices.
Occupational Health
- Perform DOT Physicals (FMCSA Certified Medical Examiner preferred or willing to obtain certification).
- Conduct pre-employment, return-to-work, annual, and fit-for-duty physicals.
- Evaluate work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Complete employer and occupational health documentation.
Wellness Services
- Wellness consultations
- IV hydration therapy
- Vitamin injections
- Weight management
- Preventive health counseling
Qualifications Required
- Active Florida ARNP license
- Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Primary Care, Internal Medicine,, or Occupational Medicine
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Experience using electronic medical records (EMR)
- Malpractice Insurance
Preferred
- DOT Certified Medical Examiner (FMCSA)
- Occupational Health experience
- ACLS Certification
Schedule
- Part-time
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
