Field Marketing Associate Jobs in Hawaii: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field marketing associate in Hawaii?
Most field marketing associate roles in Hawaii require a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business, though employers in hospitality and retail sometimes accept equivalent experience in lieu of a degree. No state-issued license is required for this role in Hawaii. Candidates who build experience through campus marketing programs at the University of Hawaii or through internships with Honolulu-based consumer brands tend to move into paid positions more quickly.
Which companies hire field marketing associates in Hawaii?
Companies currently hiring field marketing associates in Hawaii include Hilton Grand Vacations, Travel + Leisure, and Marriott Vacations Worldwide, per current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Hawaii's tourism-driven economy means many of these openings are with hospitality brands, retail chains, and consumer goods companies with a strong island presence.
Which Hawaii cities have the most field marketing associate jobs?
Honolulu, Lahaina, and Waikoloa have the most field marketing associate openings in Hawaii. Honolulu drives the bulk of demand as the state's commercial and retail center, while Maui and Hilo attract openings tied to resort operators, regional retail chains, and consumer brands running localized campaigns across the neighbor islands.
Are there remote field marketing associate jobs in Hawaii?
Yes, but they're rare. Field marketing associate work is largely on-site by nature, requiring in-person event execution, consumer engagement, and territory management. About 33% of field marketing associate openings tied to Hawaii are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, and those tend to cover strategy, reporting, and campaign planning tasks rather than the field-facing components of the role.
How can I get hired as a field marketing associate in Hawaii with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is an event coordinator or brand ambassador role with a Hawaii hospitality or retail employer, then moving into a full field marketing associate position. Large island employers like Outrigger Hospitality and Times Supermarkets occasionally bring on entry-level marketing coordinators for promotional campaigns. Building a portfolio of community event work, even through University of Hawaii student organizations, and earning a Google Analytics or HubSpot certification can give a candidate a concrete edge in Hawaii interviews.
Where can I find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in Hawaii?
You can find and apply to field marketing associate jobs in Hawaii on Migrate Mate, which lists current Hawaii openings updated regularly. Search the listings to find roles that match your experience level, location preference, and specialty, then apply directly to the ones that fit.
