Field Sales Consultant Jobs in Arkansas: Frequently Asked Questions
How do you become a field sales consultant in Arkansas?
Most field sales consultant positions in Arkansas require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, though some employers hire candidates with an associate degree plus demonstrated sales experience. Arkansas does not impose a state-issued license for general field sales work, but consultants selling insurance or securities must register with the Arkansas Insurance Department or obtain a FINRA license. Building a portfolio of closed accounts and earning CRM certifications strengthens most applications.
How much do field sales consultants make in Arkansas?
Field sales consultants in Arkansas earn a median of about $50,570 a year, based on May 2025 Bureau of Labor Statistics wage data, ranging from around $30,930 for the lowest 10% to over $107,210 for the top 10%. Pay rises with experience, specialty, and employer.
Which companies hire field sales consultants in Arkansas?
Arkansas field sales consultant roles are posted by Metro Aviation, Sundt Construction, and Cleft of the Rock and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. Arkansas's mix of retail headquarters, regional freight carriers, and expanding healthcare networks means hiring is distributed across industries rather than concentrated in a single sector.
Which Arkansas cities have the most field sales consultant jobs?
Little Rock, Jonesboro, and Texarkana have the most field sales consultant openings in Arkansas right now. Little Rock's concentration of healthcare systems, financial institutions, and state government contractors drives the largest share, while Fayetteville's proximity to Walmart's global headquarters pulls in consumer goods and retail vendor roles, and Fort Smith's manufacturing and logistics base supports industrial and freight sales positions.
Are there remote field sales consultant jobs in Arkansas?
Yes, but they're rare. About 25% of field sales consultant openings tied to Arkansas are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, reflecting the fact that field sales work is inherently territory-based and typically requires in-person client visits. The portions of the role most likely to be handled remotely are prospecting, proposal preparation, and CRM reporting rather than the client-facing sales calls themselves.
How can I get hired as a field sales consultant in Arkansas with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path is through an inside sales or sales development representative role with one of Arkansas's larger employers, where you build pipeline skills before moving into field work. Walmart's supplier-facing commercial teams, regional healthcare distributors based in Little Rock, and ArcBest's freight solutions division all run rotational or associate programs that bring in candidates without direct field experience. A completed CRM certification and any retail or customer-facing background give applicants a clear edge when applying to these structured entry programs.
Where can I find and apply to field sales consultant jobs in Arkansas?
You can find and apply to field sales consultant jobs in Arkansas on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings across Little Rock, Fayetteville, Fort Smith, and other Arkansas markets. Search the roles that match your experience level and territory preference, then apply directly to the ones that fit your background.
