Entry Level Financial Representative Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get an entry level financial representative job?
Employers at this level look for candidates with a relevant degree in finance, business, or economics, along with any internship or client-facing experience you can point to. Licensing readiness matters too: many postings expect you to hold or be actively pursuing a Series 6, Series 63, or Life and Health license. A clear explanation of why you want to work with clients on their financial goals will set you apart in interviews.
Which companies hire entry level financial representatives?
Companies hiring entry level financial representatives right now include Northwestern Mutual, Citizens Business Bank, and First National Bank Texas, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. The hiring mix at this level tends to include insurance carriers, regional banks, credit unions, and independent wealth management firms actively building out their junior advisor pipelines.
Are there remote entry level financial representative jobs?
Yes, though most entry level roles in this field are still on-site or hybrid because client relationship building is central to the work. About 2% of entry level financial representative openings are remote or hybrid as of July 2026, so options exist if flexibility is a priority, but on-site positions remain the larger share of the market at this experience level.
Are these new grad financial representative jobs?
Yes, these listings include new grad, recent graduate, and junior financial representative roles. A posting is new-grad friendly when it explicitly welcomes zero to two years of experience, counts internships or campus work toward requirements, or accepts an active pursuit of licensing in place of prior professional credentials. If a role lists a degree with no minimum years of experience, it is typically open to new grads.
Which industries hire the most entry level financial representatives?
Entry Level financial representative roles concentrate in Insurance, Banking & Financial Services, and Healthcare & Medical Services, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of July 2026. These sectors drive hiring at this level because their business models depend on a steady pipeline of client-facing representatives who can be trained, licensed, and developed into longer-term advisors over time.
