Duties
- Manage store operations, sales, budgets, pricing, purchasing, merchandising, stocking, and inventory management.
- Recruit, interview, orient, train, develop, supervise, and manage employees; coordinate schedules, shifts, and payroll.
- Oversee customer service, cashiering, cash handling, point-of-sale (POS) systems, bookkeeping, and basic retail math.
- Set team priorities, communicate expectations, negotiate with vendors, and monitor sales and operational performance.
- Maintain product knowledge and inventory accuracy; apply organizational, time-management, and phone-etiquette skills.
Experience
- Experience in retail management, store management, sales management, operations management, or operational management; supervising and team-management experience is important.
- Retail industry sales team management experience is preferred. Assistant manager experience and grocery store experience are also valued.
- Demonstrated leadership, managerial communication, customer service, recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training and development skills.
- Working knowledge of inventory control, POS systems, payroll, bookkeeping, purchasing, budgeting, pricing, cash handling, retail sales, retail math, and basic math.
- Strong communication and organizational skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are welcome.
Pay: $145,000.00 - $204,000.00 per year
