Green Card Acquisition Marketing Manager Jobs
Acquisition Marketing Manager roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which requires employers to document recruitment efforts before filing an I-140 immigrant petition. Marketing strategy positions tied to measurable revenue or customer acquisition pipelines tend to support stronger EB-2 cases for advanced-degree candidates.

- Partner with Analytics to ensure acquisition data is consolidated, accurate, and actionable.
- Develop and manage talent within the deposit acquisition marketing function.

Document your degree-to-role alignment early
PERM requires the job description to specify a bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Gather transcripts and a credential evaluation now if your degree is from outside the U.S., so that alignment is clear before your employer files.
Use O*NET to verify specialty occupation standing
Pull the Acquisition Marketing Manager occupation profile from O*NET before negotiating your job description with HR. The profile's listed education requirements and typical duties directly support the specialized-role argument USCIS reviewers look for in EB-2 cases.
Target employers with dedicated immigration infrastructure
Look for companies that list PERM or I-140 sponsorship in postings, not just H-1B visa. Employers experienced with employment-based green cards already have immigration counsel and an established PERM recruitment workflow, which shortens your path from offer to filing.
Search verified sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter by Acquisition Marketing Manager roles at companies with active green card filing history on Migrate Mate. That history signals an employer familiar with PERM timelines, prevailing wage requirements, and I-140 petition standards, reducing the risk of a delayed or abandoned sponsorship.
Check prevailing wage before accepting an offer
Run your offered salary against the OFLC Wage Search before signing. PERM requires your employer to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location, and an offer below that threshold will require renegotiation or delay your labor certification filing.
Clarify EB-2 versus EB-3 category with your employer early
Ask HR or their immigration counsel which category they intend to file under before your offer letter is finalized. EB-2 requires an advanced degree or equivalent experience, while EB-3 covers bachelor's-level professionals, and the choice affects your priority date and wait time.
Green Card Acquisition Marketing Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an Acquisition Marketing Manager role qualify for EB-2 green card sponsorship?
Yes, if the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as marketing, business, or communications, it can qualify as a specialty occupation for EB-2. Roles with strategic ownership over customer acquisition programs or measurable revenue pipelines tend to support stronger EB-2 cases. Your employer's immigration counsel will confirm the category based on the finalized job description.
How does PERM green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
H-1B is a temporary work visa subject to an annual lottery, while PERM leads to permanent residency with no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most countries outside India and China. The PERM process takes longer upfront, typically 12 to 24 months from labor certification to I-140 approval, but the outcome is a green card rather than a status that must be renewed every three years.
What documentation should I prepare before a PERM sponsorship begins?
Gather your degree transcripts, a foreign credential evaluation if your degree is from outside the U.S., any graduate certificates, and a current resume mapping your experience to acquisition marketing duties. If your employer's PERM job description requires specific tools or channel expertise, document that experience clearly. Immigration counsel uses these materials to build the labor certification and I-140 petition.
How can I find Acquisition Marketing Manager jobs that include green card sponsorship?
Search for roles at employers with a documented history of PERM and I-140 filings in marketing or related functions. Migrate Mate lets you filter Acquisition Marketing Manager openings by companies with active green card sponsorship history, so you're targeting employers who have already navigated the PERM process rather than those encountering it for the first time.
Can my employer file PERM while I'm still on a temporary work visa?
Yes. Employers commonly begin the PERM labor certification process while you hold H-1B or another temporary status. Starting early is practical because PERM timelines average 12 months or more at DOL, and filing before your current authorization expires gives you time to reach the adjustment of status stage without interrupting your employment.
