Green Card Advertising Account Manager Jobs
Advertising Account Manager roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship when employers file a PERM labor certification with DOL. Agencies and brand-side marketing teams regularly sponsor foreign professionals through this process, which leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary status renewal cycle.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as an Advertising Account Manager
Document your client-facing credentials early
Gather performance reviews, campaign outcome reports, and client retention records before you begin your job search. PERM requires your employer to prove your qualifications meet the role's minimum requirements, so concrete evidence of account growth strengthens your petition file.
Target agencies with established PERM filing history
Large holding-company agencies and in-house brand teams at consumer goods companies file PERM more regularly than boutique shops. Prioritize employers whose past DOL filings show a pattern of sponsoring account management roles, not just creative or technical positions.
Clarify sponsorship intent before the offer stage
Ask directly during second-round interviews whether the employer has sponsored EB-2 or EB-3 candidates in account management specifically. Some agencies sponsor engineers freely but hesitate on client-services roles, so confirming early saves months of misaligned negotiation.
Use Migrate Mate to find green card sponsoring employers
Search Migrate Mate to filter Advertising Account Manager openings by employers with active green card sponsorship history. This surfaces opportunities where PERM filings in your role category are already documented, cutting your research time significantly.
Understand how your degree maps to EB-2 versus EB-3
EB-2 requires a master's degree or a bachelor's plus five years of progressive experience in advertising or marketing. If your credentials sit at the EB-3 threshold, discuss this with your employer before PERM filing so the job description is drafted to match the correct classification accurately.
Verify the prevailing wage before your salary negotiation
Your employer must pay the DOL-certified prevailing wage for your job zone and location throughout the PERM process. Check the OFLC Wage Search for the Advertising Account Manager wage level in your metro area so your offered salary clears the threshold before the labor certification is filed.
Green Card Advertising Account Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an Advertising Account Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most Advertising Account Manager positions qualify for EB-3 as skilled worker roles requiring a bachelor's degree. EB-2 applies when the position genuinely requires a master's degree or equivalent, meaning a bachelor's plus at least five years of progressive experience in account management or marketing. Your employer's job description must accurately reflect whichever classification is filed.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
H-1B visa sponsorship is temporary, capped annually at 85,000, and subject to a lottery. EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through PERM has no annual cap at the petition level, though visa number backlogs affect certain nationalities. The PERM process leads to permanent residency, not a renewable temporary status, and requires DOL labor market testing before the I-140 is filed.
What does the PERM labor certification process look like for advertising roles?
Your employer files a labor certification with DOL certifying no qualified U.S. workers are available for the position at the prevailing wage. This requires a supervised recruitment period, typically 60 to 90 days, with specific advertising steps including print and online job postings. After certification, the employer files an I-140 immigrant petition, and you file for adjustment of status once a visa number is current.
How can I find Advertising Account Manager jobs that sponsor green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Advertising Account Manager openings at employers with documented green card sponsorship history. This is more targeted than a general job search because it filters by employers who have filed PERM or I-140 petitions in account management roles, not just those who broadly claim to sponsor work visas.
Can I switch employers during the green card process without losing my place?
Portability rules under AC21 allow you to change to a same or similar role after your I-140 is approved and your I-485 has been pending for at least 180 days. For Advertising Account Manager roles, a move to a comparable account management position at a new employer generally qualifies, but your new employer's job description must substantively match the original PERM-certified role.
