Green Card Regional Sales Manager Jobs
Regional Sales Manager roles qualify for green card sponsorship under EB-2 or EB-3 when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Employers file PERM labor certification with DOL before sponsoring you for permanent residency, making this a long-term path rather than a temporary work authorization.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Regional Sales Manager
Document your degree-to-role alignment
PERM requires your employer to prove the Regional Sales Manager role normally requires a degree in a specific field. Gather transcripts, credential evaluations, and job descriptions that show your business or marketing degree directly maps to the role's duties.
Target employers with PERM filing history
Not every company that hires sales managers will sponsor a green card. Search OFLC disclosure data for employers who have filed PERM applications for Regional Sales Manager or related sales leadership titles to find realistic sponsoring candidates.
Search green card jobs on Migrate Mate
Filter by Regional Sales Manager roles with active EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship using Migrate Mate. The platform surfaces employers with verified green card filing history, so you're not cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored a permanent resident.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before signing
Ask whether the employer will cover PERM advertising costs and I-140 filing fees, and confirm they use immigration counsel. Some companies sponsor only after a probationary period, which delays your priority date and the entire green card timeline.
Understand EB-2 versus EB-3 eligibility for your credentials
EB-2 requires the role to demand an advanced degree or equivalent, while EB-3 covers roles requiring a standard four-year degree. Regional Sales Manager positions often qualify under EB-3; an advanced MBA or significant specialized credentials may support an EB-2 filing instead.
Verify the employer's E-Verify enrollment before accepting
USCIS requires I-140 sponsoring employers to meet certain compliance standards, and many large employers with PERM history are already E-Verify enrolled. Confirming enrollment early signals the company has structured HR processes and is familiar with federal employment-based sponsorship obligations.
Green Card Regional Sales Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Regional Sales Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Regional Sales Manager positions qualify under EB-3, which covers professionals in roles that require a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as business, marketing, or management. If the position requires an advanced degree or you hold an MBA with specialized credentials, your employer may be able to file under EB-2 instead. The specific job duties and stated educational requirements in the PERM labor certification determine which category applies.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 is permanent rather than temporary, with no annual renewal cycle once you receive your priority date. Unlike H-1B visa, there is no annual lottery for EB-3 filings, so most nationalities outside of India and China face no cap backlog. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone can take one to two years before USCIS even reviews the I-140 petition.
What does the PERM process mean for a Regional Sales Manager candidate?
PERM requires your employer to conduct a federally supervised recruitment process and certify to DOL that no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. For Regional Sales Manager positions, the employer must advertise with specific language matching the job requirements. You cannot self-petition for PERM; the employer drives the process, which is why finding a company with prior sponsorship experience significantly reduces errors and delays.
How do I find Regional Sales Manager jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Most job postings don't explicitly advertise EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship, so searching by employer filing history is more reliable than keyword searches. Migrate Mate lets you filter Regional Sales Manager roles by employers with verified green card sponsorship records, saving time you'd otherwise spend cold-applying to companies with no PERM history.
Can I switch employers while my green card application is in progress?
You can change employers after your I-140 petition has been approved and your priority date has been current for at least 180 days, under AC21 portability rules. The new role must be in the same or a similar occupational classification, which generally includes Regional Sales Manager and comparable sales leadership positions. Changing employers before I-140 approval restarts the PERM process entirely.
