Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Customer Program Manager
Target employers with active PERM filings
Search DOL PERM disclosure data for companies that have certified Customer Program Manager or related program management roles. Repeat PERM filers understand the process and are far less likely to withdraw sponsorship mid-case.
Use Migrate Mate to filter green card-sponsoring employers
Search Migrate Mate's job board to surface Customer Program Manager openings at employers with verified EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship history, so you spend time on applications that can actually lead to permanent residency.
Clarify the PERM job description before signing an offer
The duties and requirements in your offer letter must match the PERM application exactly. Ask your employer to confirm the DOL-filed job description reflects your actual role, since any mismatch can trigger an audit and delay your green card by a year or more.
Verify the employer's prevailing wage compliance
DOL requires employers to pay the PERM-certified prevailing wage throughout your green card process. Cross-check the offered salary against the OFLC Wage Search for your job zone and work location before accepting an offer.
Check your country's EB-3 priority date before choosing a role
For nationals of heavily oversubscribed countries, EB-3 wait times can span years. Review the State Department Visa Bulletin when evaluating offers so you understand how your citizenship affects how long you'll wait after I-140 approval.

Find Customer Program Manager JobsCustomer Program Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Customer Program Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Customer Program Manager positions typically qualify for EB-3 as a professional role requiring a bachelor's degree, and for EB-2 when the employer can demonstrate the position requires an advanced degree or the candidate holds one. The specific category depends on how the employer defines minimum requirements in the PERM job description, which DOL reviews during labor certification.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
H-1B is a temporary status with a three-year initial period, subject to annual lottery caps, and requires renewal to maintain authorization. EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship leads to permanent residency with no cap concerns at the individual petition level. PERM adds a labor market test step that H-1B doesn't require, but the outcome is permanent rather than temporary status.
How long does the EB-3 green card process take for a Customer Program Manager?
The full process runs from one to several years depending on your country of birth and case complexity. PERM labor certification typically takes six to twelve months. I-140 adjudication adds several more months. For nationals of countries with high demand, waiting for a visa number to become available after I-140 approval can extend the total timeline significantly.
Where can I find Customer Program Manager jobs that sponsor green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search Customer Program Manager roles filtered by employers with confirmed EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship history. Because most general job boards don't surface green card sponsorship data, filtering by PERM filing history is the most reliable way to identify which employers are genuinely positioned to sponsor permanent residency for this role.
Can my employer start my green card process while I'm on H-1B status?
Yes. Employers regularly file PERM and I-140 petitions while you're on H-1B. If your I-140 is approved and your priority date is current, you can file for adjustment of status without leaving H-1B status. Under AC21 portability rules, you can also change employers after your I-485 has been pending for 180 days, provided the new role is in the same or a similar occupational classification.
