Green Card Delivery Manager Jobs
Delivery Manager roles sit squarely within EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship pathways, with employers filing PERM labor certifications through DOL before petitioning USCIS for permanent residence. Project management backgrounds and advanced degrees in business, engineering, or operations typically support both categories. Green card sponsorship takes you from temporary authorization to lawful permanent residency.

Frame your credentials for PERM documentation
Before applying, document that your Delivery Manager experience aligns with a specific SOC code. PERM requires the employer to define minimum job requirements, so inconsistencies between your resume and the posted role description can trigger audits or denials.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Use the OFLC Wage Search to filter for employers who have previously filed PERM applications for Delivery Manager or related project management titles. Repeat filers have established internal processes, which shortens your wait from offer to petition.
Clarify the EB-2 versus EB-3 category early
Delivery Manager roles can qualify under EB-2 if the position genuinely requires an advanced degree, or EB-3 if a bachelor's degree is the standard. The category affects your priority date and wait time, so ask the employer which classification they intend to file under before accepting an offer.
Search green card sponsoring employers on Migrate Mate
Filter Migrate Mate by Delivery Manager roles where employers have documented green card sponsorship history. This surfaces companies already running PERM filings for this job title, cutting out the guesswork of cold applications to employers unfamiliar with the process.
Verify the prevailing wage tier before negotiating salary
PERM requires employers to pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your role and location. Pull the current wage level for Delivery Manager under your metro area via OFLC Wage Search so your offer sits at or above Level II or III, avoiding a refiling requirement later.
Confirm I-140 portability before your six-year H-1B expires
If you're on H-1B visa and your employer starts PERM, an approved I-140 petition lets you extend your H-1B beyond six years under AC21 portability rules. USCIS requires the I-140 to be approved and the priority date to remain current, so track both milestones with your employer.
Green Card Delivery Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Delivery Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Both categories are possible depending on how the employer defines the position. EB-2 applies when the role genuinely requires an advanced degree in a field like engineering, business administration, or operations management. EB-3 covers roles where a bachelor's degree is the standard requirement. The employer's attorney makes the final determination during PERM drafting, but you should confirm the intended category before accepting an offer since it directly affects your priority date and wait time.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for Delivery Managers?
Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 leads to permanent residency, not a temporary status with a fixed expiration. There is no annual lottery for EB-3, which removes the selection uncertainty that H-1B registrants face each spring. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM takes several months before USCIS even receives the I-140 petition. For nationals from countries without significant backlogs, EB-3 can move faster than the multi-year H-1B renewal cycle.
Where should I look for Delivery Manager jobs with green card sponsorship?
Use Migrate Mate to search specifically for Delivery Manager roles at employers with documented PERM filing history. Filtering by sponsorship history rather than self-reported willingness removes the guesswork, since many companies list themselves as open to sponsorship but have no track record of completing PERM filings for this job title.
What does the PERM labor certification process look like for a Delivery Manager?
Your employer files an ETA Form 9089 with DOL after completing a supervised recruitment process to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers applied for the role. For Delivery Manager positions, the recruitment typically includes job postings, newspaper ads, and internal notices over a set period. DOL can audit the file or certify it, after which your employer submits the I-140 petition to USCIS. The entire PERM stage generally runs six to twelve months before the I-140 is even filed.
Can my Delivery Manager job change while my green card case is pending?
Once your I-140 has been approved for 180 days and your priority date is current or nearly current, portability rules under AC21 allow you to change employers or roles as long as the new position is in the same or a similar occupational classification. Delivery Manager and related program or project management titles typically fall under the same SOC group, but your new employer's attorney should confirm portability eligibility before you make the move.
