This role is for a highly accomplished and results-driven sales professional to accelerate the adoption of strategic Google Cloud solutions, with a specialized focus on Cloud and Application Modernization, Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence, including the Gemini Enterprise suite. The specialist will be instrumental in forging and closing complex deals by articulating the technical and business value of these offerings to C-level executives. The individual should have a go-getter attitude to work in a challenging and number driven environment. The role expects both hunting net new logos and account mining for existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership: Exceed aggressive month-over-month (M-o-M) and quarter-over-quarter (Q-o-Q) sales targets by driving large-scale, strategic engagements.
2. Executive Engagement: Identify and penetrate target enterprise accounts, establishing deep, lasting relationships with CXOs, operating partners, and key technical stakeholders.
3. Value Articulation: Create and deliver compelling, customized value propositions demonstrating how Google Cloud solutions across App, Data, and AI/Gemini drive revenue, efficiency, and scale for client businesses, specifically focusing on Gemini Enterprise adoption and enablement.
4. Pipeline Management: Manage the entire deal lifecycle from 'Qualify' through 'Close,' ensuring the development and maintenance of a healthy sales pipeline that significantly exceeds quota expectations.
5. Strategic Representation: Represent the region in overall business planning sessions and sales reviews, contributing strategic market intelligence on products, competition, and emerging trends.
6. Process Leadership: Constantly set higher benchmarks for process adherence, identifying and implementing improvements in sales efficiency, enablement, and productivity.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 15+ years of progressive, enterprise-level sales, technical sales, or business development experience in the technology sector, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Google Cloud.
Deep Cloud Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience in selling and articulating the value of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services across multiple domains:
* Application (App) Modernization: Experience with cloud-native development, serverless, and containerization strategies (e.g., GKE, Cloud Run).
* Data Analytics: Expertise in selling solutions for data platform modernization and data warehousing (e.g., BigQuery, Dataflow, Vertex AI).
* AI/Machine Learning: Strong technical and commercial understanding of Generative AI/Machine Learning solutions (e.g., Gemini Enterprise) and their adoption challenges.
Sales Acumen:
* Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multiple stakeholder levels across client and internal organizations.
* Exceptional track record of structuring and managing complex, multi-year negotiations to successful closure and delivery.

Qualification Criteria:
Must have min of 5 Years experience with Google Cloud services
Have a proven track record of closing deals size with avg >$1M and account mining to expand services portfolios.
* Should have a fair understanding of engineering the technical solution and not just a relationship builder.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as an Enterprise Sales Specialist
Frame your credentials for PERM requirements
PERM locks in the minimum requirements the employer advertises. Before applying, confirm your degree field and years of experience match what the job posting specifies, because discrepancies between your credentials and the certified job description can derail an I-140 later.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Search DOL's OFLC Wage Search and public PERM disclosure data to identify companies that have sponsored Enterprise Sales Specialist or related sales roles before. Prior filing history signals an established process and reduces the risk of an employer withdrawing midway through sponsorship.
Negotiate sponsorship terms before accepting an offer
Ask explicitly whether the employer covers PERM recruitment costs and attorney fees, since DOL prohibits passing those costs to you. Get the sponsorship commitment in writing before resigning from your current role or triggering any status changes.
Use Migrate Mate to filter green card sponsoring employers
Search Migrate Mate by job title and filter specifically for employers with EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship history in sales. This cuts the prospecting time of manually cross-referencing PERM disclosures and surfaces roles where green card sponsorship is already part of the hiring process.
Understand how O*NET classification affects your petition
Enterprise Sales Specialist roles map to specific O*NET occupation codes that DOL uses to set prevailing wage levels. Confirm which code your employer intends to file under, because a mismatch between your actual duties and the coded occupation can trigger a PERM audit or denial.
Plan your I-140 filing around priority date backlogs
For EB-3, your country of birth determines how long you wait after I-140 approval before you can file for adjustment of status. Indian and Chinese nationals face multi-year waits even with an approved petition, so factor that timeline into job change decisions and project timelines early.
Green Card Enterprise Sales Specialist: Frequently Asked Questions
Does an Enterprise Sales Specialist role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Both are possible. EB-3 applies when the role requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, which covers most Enterprise Sales Specialist positions. EB-2 applies if the employer can demonstrate the role requires an advanced degree, or if you qualify via a National Interest Waiver, though self-petition NIW cases are uncommon in sales.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 is permanent residency, not a temporary status requiring renewal. There is no annual lottery for EB-3, and your authorization does not expire as long as the process moves forward. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone takes six months to over a year, compared to H-1B visa's faster but temporary approval.
How long does the PERM process take for an Enterprise Sales Specialist position?
DOL's PERM processing currently runs six months to over a year for standard cases, with audited cases taking significantly longer. After PERM certification, your employer files the I-140 petition with USCIS. If your priority date is current, you can file for adjustment of status concurrently. Indian and Chinese nationals face additional wait times due to per-country backlogs.
Where can I find Enterprise Sales Specialist jobs that already sponsor green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for employers with PERM and EB-2 or EB-3 filing history in sales roles. This removes the guesswork of cold-applying to companies that have never sponsored and helps you prioritize outreach to employers with an established sponsorship track record for this job title.
Can I change employers during the green card process without losing my place?
Once your I-140 is approved and your priority date is established, you may be able to port to a new employer in a same or similar occupational classification under AC21 portability rules, provided your adjustment of status application has been pending for at least 180 days. Sales-to-sales role changes generally qualify, but confirm the occupational codes match before switching.
