Green Card Field Sales Representative Jobs
Field Sales Representative roles can qualify for green card sponsorship under EB-3 for skilled workers or EB-2 for advanced-degree professionals with a regional or national sales management background. Employers file PERM labor certification with DOL before sponsoring you permanently, making this a path to lawful permanent residency rather than a temporary work authorization.

Claris' Data Analytics and AI clustering platforms add a compelling component to Apple's strong story around AI, privacy, and security. We open new rooms, introduce new decision-makers, and help organizations understand what AI-ready infrastructure actually looks like in practice.
Description
Work alongside Apple's education and enterprise sales teams in the field - co-selling, co-presenting, and helping qualify strategic accounts across K-12 districts, higher education institutions, enterprises, and government organizations. You will position the Claris' emerging AI tools in the context of each customer's business, infrastructure, and AI ambitions.
Generate, qualify, and develop pipeline across all three Claris AI revenue streams - Pulse Cloud, Pulse On-Prem, and AI cluster licensing - and ensure that the leads you originate and qualify are developed with full context, a clear use case, and a warm relationship already established such that they can be carried to completion or handed off to Inside Sales teams.
Represent Claris at Apple's global Executive Briefing Centers (EBCs) and conferences, delivering or supporting persona-specific demo narratives for incoming customer profiles. Show up at Apple-led one-to-many field events and qualify from the audience.

Document your sales credentials before applying
Gather performance records, quota attainment data, and any professional certifications before approaching sponsors. PERM requires your employer to verify your qualifications meet the minimum requirements listed in the certified job description, so gaps in documentation slow the process.
Target employers with established PERM filing history
Field sales roles at companies that have filed PERM applications before face fewer internal hurdles. Search DOL's OFLC disclosure data to identify employers who have sponsored similar outside-sales or account-executive positions, then prioritize those in your outreach.
Clarify whether your role qualifies as EB-2 or EB-3
Most field sales positions are sponsored under EB-3 as skilled workers, but roles requiring a master's degree or specialized industry knowledge can qualify under EB-2. Review the O*NET occupation profile for Field Sales Representative to understand how DOL classifies the education and experience requirements.
Use Migrate Mate to find green card sponsoring employers
Searching for field sales roles with confirmed sponsorship history is faster with a dedicated tool. Migrate Mate filters jobs by employers with active green card filing records, so you can focus your applications on companies that have already committed to the PERM process.
Negotiate green card sponsorship before signing your offer
Ask during the offer stage whether the employer will initiate PERM within a defined timeframe. Many field sales candidates assume sponsorship is automatic after a trial period, but without a written commitment the employer has no obligation to file, and PERM timelines typically run two to four years from certification to approval.
Understand how territory changes affect your PERM filing
PERM is tied to a specific work location. If your field sales role covers multiple states or your territory reassigns after the labor certification is filed, your employer may need to restart the process. Confirm with your employer's immigration counsel that the job location on your PERM matches where you'll primarily work.
Green Card Field Sales Representative: Frequently Asked Questions
Can a Field Sales Representative role qualify for green card sponsorship?
Yes. Field Sales Representative positions regularly qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers requiring at least two years of training or experience. Roles that require a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field can also qualify under EB-3 as professionals. Your employer files a PERM labor certification with DOL to start the process, demonstrating no qualified U.S. workers are available for the specific position.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for sales roles?
H-1B visa sponsorship is temporary, capped at 85,000 new visas annually, and subject to lottery selection. Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency with no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most countries. The tradeoff is timeline: PERM labor certification alone takes six months to over a year before your employer can even file the I-140 immigrant petition, making it a longer but more permanent path.
What does the PERM labor certification process involve for my employer?
Your employer must conduct a supervised recruitment campaign to show no qualified U.S. workers are available for your specific field sales role at the prevailing wage. DOL reviews the recruitment results before certifying the application. Your employer determines the prevailing wage for your position and location using the OFLC Wage Search tool, and must pay you at least that wage once you're sponsored.
How do I find Field Sales Representative jobs where employers are willing to sponsor a green card?
Most job postings don't advertise green card sponsorship explicitly, so filtering by employers with a documented PERM filing history is more effective than keyword searching. Migrate Mate is built specifically for this, letting you search Field Sales Representative roles by employers who have sponsored foreign workers through the green card process, saving time on cold outreach to companies unlikely to sponsor.
Does changing territories or employers reset my green card timeline?
Changing employers almost always restarts the process because PERM is employer-specific and non-transferable. Changing territories within the same company can also be a problem if your work location changes significantly, since PERM is tied to a specific position and location. Once your I-140 is approved and you've been in the process for 180 days, portability rules under AC21 offer some protection if you change to a same-or-similar role.
