Major Account Executive Green Card Jobs
Major Account Executive roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. Employers file a PERM labor certification with DOL before petitioning USCIS, permanently sponsoring you rather than renewing a temporary visa. Sponsorship timelines vary by your country of birth and priority date.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Major Account Executive
Verify your degree aligns with PERM requirements
DOL's PERM process requires the employer to document that the role has a specific minimum education requirement. A general business degree supports most Major Account Executive filings, but confirm your credentials match the job description before the labor certification is drafted.
Target employers with dedicated enterprise sales teams
Companies with formalized, quota-carrying account executive structures are more likely to have HR and legal infrastructure for PERM filings. Software, medical devices, and cloud services firms regularly sponsor foreign nationals in senior sales roles because the talent pool is specialized.
Search for green card sponsoring roles on Migrate Mate
Filter by job title and employer sponsorship history on Migrate Mate to surface Major Account Executive openings where the company has a documented record of filing employment-based green cards, saving you from offers that stall at the PERM stage.
Understand how EB-2 versus EB-3 affects your timeline
If your role requires only a bachelor's degree, employers typically file under EB-3. EB-2 applies when the position demands an advanced degree or equivalent. Your country of birth determines priority date backlogs, so confirm your category before accepting a sponsorship offer.
Negotiate PERM filing timing before you accept an offer
Employers can begin PERM prevailing wage determination through the OFLC Wage Search before you start. Ask during negotiations whether the company will initiate the process within your first year, since delays compound significantly once green card queues are factored in.
Check the O*NET profile to anchor your job duties
The O*NET occupation profile for Sales Representatives, Wholesale and Manufacturing defines core duties USCIS expects to see in a Major Account Executive petition. Aligning your offer letter's job description to these duties reduces the risk of a Request for Evidence during I-140 adjudication.

Find Major Account Executive JobsMajor Account Executive Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Major Account Executive roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Major Account Executive positions qualify under EB-3 when the employer requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. EB-2 applies if the role formally requires a master's degree or equivalent. The employer's documented minimum requirements drive the category, not your personal credentials, so the job description in the PERM filing is critical.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 leads to permanent residency, not a temporary visa that expires or requires renewal. There is no annual lottery at the EB-3 level, and once your priority date is current, adjustment of status proceeds regardless of future policy changes. The tradeoff is a longer overall timeline, often three to seven years or more depending on your country of birth.
Where can I find Major Account Executive jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you filter job listings specifically for employers with employment-based green card filing history, including Major Account Executive roles. This removes the guesswork of approaching companies that may not have the legal infrastructure or budget to support a full PERM filing.
What does the PERM labor certification process look like for a sales role?
The employer must conduct a DOL-mandated recruitment process, post the job publicly, and document that no qualified U.S. worker applied. For Major Account Executive roles, the employer defines the minimum requirements, and DOL certifies that the offered wage meets the prevailing wage determined through the OFLC Wage Search. The certified PERM then supports the I-140 immigrant visa petition.
Can I switch employers after my green card sponsorship has started?
Once your I-140 is approved and your priority date is established, you gain some flexibility under AC21 portability rules if your I-485 adjustment of status application has been pending for 180 days or more. You can move to a same or similar occupation without losing your priority date. For Major Account Executive roles, the new position typically needs to match the occupational classification from your original petition, which makes documenting your job duties carefully from the start important.
