Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in National Account Director
Match your credentials to EB-2 requirements
EB-2 requires a U.S. master's degree or foreign equivalent, or a bachelor's plus five years of progressive experience. Document promotions, revenue ownership, and team scope in your resume to reflect the advanced-degree professional standard USCIS evaluates.
Target enterprise employers with PERM filing history
Large consumer goods, technology, and healthcare companies with national distribution networks sponsor National Account Directors most frequently. Search DOL PERM disclosure data to identify employers who have filed labor certifications for this exact job title before.
Use Migrate Mate to filter sponsoring employers
Filtering job postings by green card sponsorship history saves weeks of manual research. Migrate Mate surfaces National Account Director roles at companies with active employment-based sponsorship records, so you apply where sponsorship is already established practice.
Request the prevailing wage tier during offer negotiation
Your offer letter salary must meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage for your metro area and job classification. Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the Level III or Level IV wage for your target location before accepting an offer.
Clarify PERM timeline expectations before signing
PERM labor certification currently takes over a year at the DOL analyst review stage. Confirm with your prospective employer that they understand the multi-step timeline: PERM, then I-140, then adjustment of status or consular processing.
Build a contemporaneous evidence file for the I-140
After PERM is certified, your employer files an I-140 immigrant petition. Gather offer letters, performance reviews, client contracts you managed, and org charts showing your reporting structure now, before filing, while the evidence is easiest to obtain.

Find National Account Director JobsNational Account Director Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a National Account Director role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
National Account Director positions typically qualify for both EB-2 and EB-3 depending on the employer's minimum requirements. If the role requires a master's degree or equivalent, EB-2 applies. If a bachelor's plus experience suffices, EB-3 covers it. The employer's PERM labor certification filing defines the qualifying category, so the job description your employer posts during recruitment is the controlling document.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM is permanent residency, not a temporary status. There is no annual cap lottery at the EB-3 level for most nationalities, and EB-2 caps primarily affect applicants from India and China due to per-country backlogs. The PERM process takes longer than an H-1B filing, often two to three years total, but the outcome is lawful permanent residency rather than a visa requiring renewal every one to three years.
What does the PERM labor certification process involve for a National Account Director position?
Your employer must run a supervised recruitment campaign documented through DOL to demonstrate no qualified U.S. worker applied. This includes job postings, interviews, and rejection documentation. The employer then submits the PERM application to DOL's OFLC. If audited, the process can extend significantly. Only after PERM certification can the employer file your I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS.
How can I find National Account Director jobs where the employer already sponsors green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search National Account Director roles filtered by employers with green card sponsorship history, so you avoid spending time on applications where PERM sponsorship is unlikely. Focusing on companies with prior PERM filings in sales leadership roles shortens your path considerably, since the employer's legal and HR teams have already run the process and understand the commitment involved.
Can I switch employers after my PERM is filed but before I get my green card?
You can change employers under certain conditions once your I-140 has been approved and your I-485 adjustment of status application has been pending for at least 180 days, using AC21 portability. The new role must be in the same or a similar occupational classification. Changing employers before I-140 approval generally requires restarting the PERM process with the new employer.
