Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Partner Success Manager
Document your degree field precisely
PERM requires your degree to align with the specific Partner Success Manager job duties. A business administration or communications degree maps cleanly, but if your degree is in an adjacent field, gather transcripts and a credential evaluation before your employer starts the labor certification.
Target enterprise SaaS companies with PERM history
Partner Success Manager roles are concentrated in enterprise software and cloud services, where large employer headcounts and structured HR teams make repeating the PERM process routine. Use Migrate Mate to filter for companies that have actively sponsored green cards in this exact role category.
Ask about prevailing wage tier before accepting an offer
DOL assigns a wage level to your PERM job description, and your offered salary must meet it. Check the OFLC Wage Search for Partner Success Manager under SOC code 11-2021 before negotiating, so you know which wage tier your employer's offer needs to satisfy.
Clarify whether EB-2 or EB-3 matches your credentials
EB-3 covers roles requiring a bachelor's degree, while EB-2 requires an advanced degree or documented specialized expertise. Most Partner Success Manager postings are EB-3 eligible, but if you hold a master's degree in a relevant field, confirm with your employer's counsel whether EB-2 filing makes sense.
Flag travel requirements during PERM filing
Partner Success Manager roles often involve client travel or remote work across multiple sites, which can complicate DOL's worksite requirements under PERM. Make sure the job description your employer submits to DOL accurately reflects your primary worksite location and any travel expectations.

Find Partner Success Manager JobsPartner Success Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Partner Success Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Most Partner Success Manager positions qualify under EB-3 because the role typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field. If the specific position requires an advanced degree or you have documented specialized expertise, your employer can pursue EB-2 instead. The deciding factor is how the employer writes the PERM job requirements, not just your personal credentials.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency, while H-1B is a temporary status requiring periodic renewal. EB-3 green card sponsorship has no annual cap lottery at the petition level, though visa availability varies by country of birth. The PERM process also requires your employer to conduct a formal labor market test before filing, which H-1B does not require.
How long does the PERM green card process take for a Partner Success Manager?
The full process typically spans two to four years from PERM filing to a green card decision, depending on DOL processing times, USCIS adjudication of the I-140, and visa availability for your country of birth. DOL's PERM adjudication alone can take six to eighteen months. Applicants born in countries without significant backlogs often move through the I-485 stage faster.
Where can I find Partner Success Manager jobs that sponsor green cards?
Migrate Mate lets you search specifically for Partner Success Manager roles where employers have green card sponsorship history, so you're not guessing which companies are willing to run the PERM process. Filtering by sponsorship track record upfront saves time and focuses your applications on employers already familiar with DOL and USCIS requirements for this role.
Can my employer start the green card process while I'm on H-1B or OPT?
Yes. Employers can file a PERM labor certification and I-140 petition on your behalf while you're on H-1B or even during OPT. You don't need to wait for a visa change before starting the green card process. Once your priority date becomes current and your I-140 is approved, you can file Form I-485 to adjust status without departing the U.S., provided you maintain lawful status throughout.
