Green Card Product Lead Jobs
Product Lead roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship when the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field. Your employer files a PERM labor certification with DOL before submitting the I-140 petition, permanently sponsoring your U.S. residency rather than renewing a temporary status.

Job Description
The Senior Product Manager 2 is a key member of the Nordstrom Inventory Product Management team, responsible for establishing and executing the strategic capability roadmap for OmniTrace, Nordstrom's AI-powered inventory intelligence platform, delivering anomaly detection, lifecycle traceability, real-time inventory visibility, and AI-driven insights across the enterprise. This role plays a critical function in shifting inventory management from reactive reconciliation to proactive, AI-assisted prevention, improving operational efficiency, reducing shrink, accelerating issue resolution, and building the foundation for self-healing, autonomous anomaly resolution.
The Senior Product Manager 2 will define and own the OmniTrace product vision and multi-year roadmap, in partnership with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, and execute against it. To accomplish that, the product manager will plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery and prototyping, drive intake and use case definition across business domains, and measure and communicate results of the anomaly detection, traceability, and inventory visibility capabilities in production, all while ensuring stakeholder and strategic alignment across a highly cross-functional set of partners spanning Supply Chain, Store Operations, Merchandising Operations, Accounting, and Finance.
A day in the life...
- Develop and own the strategic product vision and roadmap for OmniTrace's AI-powered anomaly detection, lifecycle traceability, and real-time inventory visibility capabilities
- Own the enterprise dashboard UI experience, giving business and operations teams a single, real-time view into enterprise inventory stock on hand, movement, and transaction lineage search
- Lead product discovery and rapid prototyping — driving aligned MVP scope, delivery estimates, and prioritized execution across anomaly detection and inventory visibility domains
- Own intake and use case definition, working with business partners to translate operational pain points into detection rules, decision trees, and recommended actions
- Define the roadmap toward self-healing, autonomous anomaly resolution — progressing use cases from detection, to AI-assisted recommendation, to human-in-the-loop automation, to guardrailed auto-resolution
- Partner with Supply Chain, Store Operations, Merchandising Operations, Accounting, and Finance to ground product requirements in operational and financial reality
- Support both front-end UI experiences and back-end system-to-system consumers, ensuring anomaly, stock on hand, movement, and lineage signals are equally usable by human operators and downstream automated workflows
- Build business cases with finance and business partners that quantify shrink reduction, resolution time (MTTR) improvement, and labor savings from automation
- Drive prioritization and alignment across cross-functional business and technology stakeholders, including engineering, data science, and operations
- Define product requirements, process flows, data schemas, and system integration specifications in alignment with north star architecture
- Define and measure KPIs for product features — detection accuracy, mean-time-to-resolution, automation/self-healing rate, search and dashboard adoption, and data freshness/latency — and support ongoing system health
You own this if you have...
- Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in product management, technology, or operations
- Technical & Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of inventory management systems and AI/ML-driven anomaly detection concepts, including how detection models, confidence scoring, and automated recommendations are built and evaluated
- Strategic Vision & Ambiguity: Ability to set a compelling product vision and multi-year roadmap toward autonomous, self-healing operations, and to thrive in ambiguity where requirements, ownership, and scope are still forming
- Execution: Proven ability to lead discovery and delivery across multiple business capability teams in parallel, drive to an aligned MVP, and manage a prioritized backlog spanning UI, search, and system-to-system consumers
- Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and analyze processes and model performance to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize automation candidates
- Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to build cross-functional relationships and drive alignment across Supply Chain, Store Operations, Merchandising Operations, Accounting, Finance, and engineering — up to executive leadership

Frame your portfolio around PERM's requirements
PERM requires your employer to prove no qualified U.S. worker is available for the role. Document your product achievements in terms of specialized domain expertise, not just outcomes, so your background clearly differentiates you from the general applicant pool.
Target employers with active I-140 filing history
Search for Product Lead roles at companies that have previously filed I-140 petitions. These employers already understand PERM timelines and have legal infrastructure in place, which reduces the risk of a sponsorship promise stalling once you receive an offer.
Use Migrate Mate to find green card sponsoring employers
Filter Product Lead job listings on Migrate Mate by EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship to surface employers actively hiring for permanent residency pathways, not just temporary visa holders. This saves you from applying to roles where sponsorship is technically possible but rarely offered.
Benchmark your wage against OFLC Wage Search before negotiating
Your employer must pay at least the prevailing wage certified on the PERM application. Look up your role and metro area in OFLC Wage Search before salary discussions so your negotiated number doesn't fall below the DOL wage level required to certify your case.
Clarify sponsorship scope during the offer stage
Ask specifically whether the offer includes PERM filing, I-140 petition, and adjustment of status support, not just initial H-1B visa transfer. Some companies sponsor temporary visas but stop short of committing to the full green card process without explicit upfront agreement.
Verify EB-2 versus EB-3 classification with your qualifications
Product Lead roles can qualify under either EB-2 or EB-3 depending on how the employer defines minimum requirements. If your job description requires an advanced degree or equivalent, push for EB-2 classification, which can move faster for certain nationalities due to priority date differences.
Green Card Product Lead: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Product Lead role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Product Lead positions typically qualify for EB-3 when the employer requires a bachelor's degree, and for EB-2 when the role requires an advanced degree or the equivalent in specialized experience. The classification depends on how the employer defines the minimum requirements in the PERM application, not on your personal credentials alone.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for a Product Lead?
H-1B is a temporary status requiring renewal every three years and is subject to an annual lottery for cap-subject employers. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 is permanent with no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most countries, though priority date backlogs affect nationals from high-demand countries. The tradeoff is a longer process, typically two to four years from PERM filing to approval.
What does the PERM process look like for a Product Lead position?
Your employer must conduct a DOL-supervised recruitment process to show no qualified U.S. worker is available for the Product Lead role. This includes posting the job through specific channels and documenting each application reviewed. Once recruitment concludes, DOL adjudicates the PERM application, and approval allows your employer to file the I-140 petition on your behalf.
Where can I find Product Lead jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Product Lead roles filtered specifically by EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship, so you're only seeing employers who have committed to the permanent residency pathway. This is more targeted than searching general job boards, where sponsorship details are rarely disclosed upfront and often limited to H-1B rather than PERM-based green card filing.
Can I switch employers after my PERM is approved but before I get my green card?
Under AC21 portability rules, you can change employers after your I-140 is approved and your adjustment of status application has been pending for 180 days or more, provided the new role is in the same or similar occupational category. For Product Lead roles, a move to a comparable product management or product strategy position at another company generally satisfies this requirement, but your immigration attorney should confirm the specific classification match.
