About VRIZE
VRIZE is a digital engineering and technology services company partnering with enterprise clients to deliver scalable, modern solutions across cloud, data, and platform transformation. We work at the intersection of business and technology, combining hands-on execution with strong technical leadership to solve complex challenges and drive real outcomes.
About the Role
VRIZE is seeking a hands-on Solutions Architect to serve as an internal technology leader and primary technical face to clients. You will lead client engagements from the front—building trusted relationships with stakeholders while partnering closely with offshore delivery teams to ensure technical excellence and successful outcomes. This is not a design-only role. You will remain hands-on with development, contribute to architecture and implementation, and step into complex or at-risk engagements to stabilize delivery and restore client confidence when needed.
Work Model
- Remote (U.S. – Central or Eastern Time preferred)
- Frequent travel to client locations required
What You’ll Do
- Design and implement scalable, secure architectures on AWS and/or Azure
- Build and prototype applications alongside delivery teams (backend and full-stack as needed)
- Lead technical solutioning for client engagements, translating business requirements into architecture decisions
- Define and enforce cloud and engineering standards (IaC, CI/CD, networking, security)
- Conduct architecture reviews, guide engineering teams, and unblock technical challenges
- Contribute to pre-sales efforts including solution discussions, estimations, and client presentations
- Act as the primary client-facing technical leader, representing VRIZE with credibility and confidence
- Bridge client teams and offshore delivery teams, ensuring alignment across requirements, execution, and expectations
- Step into at-risk or recovering projects to assess gaps, stabilize delivery, and rebuild client trust
- Own technical relationships with client stakeholders, proactively managing expectations, risks, and escalations
- Travel to client sites as needed for working sessions and key project phases
What You Bring
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a Solutions Architect or Technical Lead role
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure)
- Backend development expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and/or .NET or Python
- Experience designing microservices, event-driven architectures, and API-first systems
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices (containerization, IaC, CI/CD pipelines)
- Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting to both technical and executive audiences
- Experience working in onshore-offshore delivery models, acting as a bridge between distributed teams
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, including stakeholder alignment and escalation handling
- Experience supporting project recovery or stabilizing at-risk engagements
- AWS or Azure architecture certification preferred (with active hands-on application)
Why VRIZE
You’ll play a critical role at the intersection of technology, delivery, and client engagement—working directly with enterprise clients, influencing architecture decisions, and driving real outcomes while staying hands-on.

Frame your credentials for PERM documentation
Your degree field must align with the job duties PERM certifies. A computer science or engineering degree maps cleanly; an unrelated degree paired with years of solutions architecture experience requires a more detailed credential evaluation from NACES-approved evaluators before your employer files.
Target employers with active EB-2 and EB-3 histories
Use Migrate Mate to filter Solutions Architect Manager roles by employers with documented green card sponsorship history, so you're applying to companies that have already built the internal PERM workflow rather than ones encountering it for the first time.
Distinguish your manager title from individual-contributor roles
DOL prevailing wage calculations treat Solutions Architect Manager as a distinct SOC code from individual-contributor architect roles. Confirm the employer's PERM job description reflects management duties to lock in the correct wage level and avoid a wage audit during adjudication.
Check prevailing wages before accepting an offer
Run the job's location and SOC code through the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating your compensation. Your offered wage must meet or exceed the DOL prevailing wage at the level the employer selects, and that figure is locked in once the LCA is certified.
Understand EB-2 versus EB-3 implications for your timeline
Solutions Architect Manager roles typically qualify for EB-2 given their advanced-degree requirement, but employers sometimes file EB-3 to simplify PERM documentation. For nationals of India or China, this category choice directly affects your wait in the priority date backlog.
Request concurrent filing when your priority date allows
If your country of birth has a current priority date at the time your I-140 is approved, ask your employer to file the I-485 adjustment of status concurrently. Concurrent filing lets you receive work and travel authorization while USCIS adjudicates your permanent residency case.
Green Card Solutions Architect Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Solutions Architect Manager role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most Solutions Architect Manager positions qualify for EB-2 because they require a bachelor's degree in a technical field plus substantial progressive experience, meeting the advanced-degree standard. Employers may also file under EB-3 if the documented minimum requirement is a bachelor's degree without the advanced-degree framing. Your employer's PERM attorney decides which category fits the job description they're certifying.
How does the green card process differ from H-1B sponsorship for this role?
H-1B visa sponsorship is temporary and subject to an annual lottery cap at the regular quota level. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 leads to permanent residency with no renewal cycle, and there is no lottery at the EB-2 or EB-3 stage. The tradeoff is time: PERM labor certification alone can take six to twelve months before the I-140 is even filed, whereas an H-1B approval can come faster for cap-exempt roles.
What does the PERM labor certification process look like for this type of role?
Your employer files ETA Form 9089 with the DOL after running a mandatory recruitment campaign to show no qualified U.S. workers are available for the Solutions Architect Manager position. The job requirements in the PERM application must reflect what the role genuinely requires, not inflated criteria written to favor your profile. DOL audits are common for technology management roles, so accurate documentation matters.
How do I find employers actively sponsoring green cards for Solutions Architect Manager positions?
Search Migrate Mate to filter Solutions Architect Manager openings by employers with verified green card sponsorship activity. This saves you from applying broadly and discovering late in the process that a company has never filed PERM before. Employers experienced with EB-2 and EB-3 sponsorship move faster, make fewer documentation errors, and are less likely to withdraw the petition mid-process.
Can I change jobs after my I-140 is approved without losing my priority date?
Yes. Under AC21 portability rules, if your I-140 has been approved and your I-485 has been pending for at least 180 days, you can move to a same or similar occupational role without losing your priority date. Solutions Architect Manager roles generally port well to comparable technology leadership positions, but your new role must fall under a similar SOC classification to qualify.
