Senior Marketing Strategist Green Card Jobs
Senior Marketing Strategist roles qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which requires your employer to document that no qualified U.S. worker is available. Strategy-level marketing positions routinely meet the advanced-degree or specialized-skills threshold that supports a strong sponsorship case.

Translate your credentials into PERM language
Your portfolio and campaign results matter less to PERM than your documented degree and job duties. Frame your resume around the specific educational requirements and specialized skills DOL reviewers look for when certifying marketing strategist roles.
Use O*NET to anchor your job description
Pull the O*NET occupation profile for Marketing Managers or Advertising and Promotions Managers before your employer drafts the PERM job description. Aligning duty language with O*NET reduces the risk of a misclassification audit that stalls certification.
Target employers with existing PERM filing history
Search for Senior Marketing Strategist roles at companies that have filed PERM applications before. Migrate Mate filters job listings by green card sponsorship history, letting you focus on employers already familiar with the PERM process.
Confirm EB-2 versus EB-3 fit before accepting an offer
EB-2 requires the role to genuinely need a master's degree or equivalent; EB-3 covers bachelor's-level positions. Ask the hiring team which category they plan to file under before signing an offer letter, since reclassifying later resets your priority date.
Ask your employer about the supervised recruitment timeline
PERM requires employers to run a DOL-supervised recruitment campaign showing no qualified U.S. applicant was available. That process typically runs three to six months before filing, so build that window into your start-date negotiations.
Verify your employer's E-Verify enrollment early
After PERM certification and I-140 approval, adjustment of status through USCIS requires the employer to be a lawful sponsor. Confirming E-Verify enrollment before you invest months in the process avoids a late-stage complication that can void the sponsorship.

Find Senior Marketing Strategist JobsSenior Marketing Strategist Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Senior Marketing Strategist role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 sponsorship?
Most Senior Marketing Strategist positions qualify under EB-2 when the employer genuinely requires a master's degree or the equivalent in a field directly related to marketing strategy. If the role requires only a bachelor's degree, EB-3 applies. The distinction matters because EB-2 can reach a final decision faster for some nationalities, but both lead to the same permanent residency outcome.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B for this role?
H-1B is a temporary status with a two- to three-year initial term and an annual lottery for most applicants. Green card sponsorship through PERM and I-140 has no annual cap at the EB-3 level for most countries and results in permanent residency, not a renewable visa. The tradeoff is timeline: the PERM process alone can take six to eighteen months before USCIS even receives your I-140 petition.
How can I find Senior Marketing Strategist jobs that include green card sponsorship?
Standard job listings rarely specify whether an employer is willing to run a PERM case. Migrate Mate surfaces Senior Marketing Strategist roles specifically from employers with documented employment-based sponsorship history, so you can focus your search on companies that have already navigated the process rather than asking employers who may have never sponsored a foreign national.
What happens to my green card case if I change employers after PERM is filed?
If you change employers before your I-140 is approved, the PERM certification and pending I-140 are generally abandoned. Once your I-140 is approved and you have held that priority date for more than 180 days, portability rules under AC21 allow you to move to a new employer in a similar occupational category without losing your place in the queue. Consult an immigration attorney before accepting a competing offer.
Can my employer use my existing H-1B while the PERM process runs?
Yes. Pursuing PERM does not affect your current H-1B status, and USCIS allows employers to extend H-1B status in one-year increments once an I-140 is approved and your priority date is not yet current. This means you can remain legally employed as a Senior Marketing Strategist throughout the PERM, I-140, and adjustment of status stages without a gap in authorization.
