Strategic Modeling and Analytics Lead
Wilmington, DE
Monday to Friday 8: 00 am to 5:00 pm
Hybrid
The Strategic Modeling and Analytics Lead serves as the primary quantitative architect and strategic financial partner for CSC’s Corporate and Legal Solutions (CLS) group. Sitting at the intersection of corporate strategy, operational analytics, and financial execution, this role owns the core modeling engines—including driver-based P&Ls, product-line profitability, capacity forecasting, and AI and tech initiative ROI—that guide executive decision-making across a $700M+ business unit.
In this role, you will lead and mentor a junior analytics team member, interface directly with General Managers (GMs) and Finance Business Partners (FBPs), and serve as the technical authority on BU financial modeling and product-level P&L architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Modeling & P&L Architecture
- Own, maintain, and enhance the product-level P&L models, ensuring strict alignment between operational drivers and financial performance.
- Build complex, dynamic driver-based models for revenue forecasting, volume throughput, inventory/WIP, operational capacity, and resource allocation.
- Develop ROI models and benefit-realization frameworks for major technology and AI investments across the business unit.
-
Conduct deep-dive monthly P&L variance analyses to identify emerging trends, margin risks, and efficiency opportunities.
-
Business Partnership & GM Engagement
- Act as the primary financial modeling advisor to General Managers and Finance Business Partners across all CLS product lines and cost drivers.
- Translate complex data and model outputs into clear, executive-level business narratives, actionable recommendations, and strategic trade-offs.
-
Lead the financial modeling and assumption-vetting phase of the annual budget and recurring forecasting processes, partnering with stakeholders to stress-test revenue and OpEx projections.
-
Analytics & Dashboard Management
- Own and expand the CLS Finance Analytics Dashboard suite, integrating EPM/ERP data to deliver real-time visibility into product volumes, unit costs, capacity metrics, and global footprint efficiency.
-
Partner with IT, Operations, and Corporate Finance to ensure enterprise data unification and establish a single source of truth for business unit analytics.
-
Team Leadership & Talent Development
- Directly manage, coach, and develop a junior Business Modeling & Analytics analyst, structuring their workflow across routine data gathering, dashboard maintenance, and modeling support.
- Set strategic direction for the modeling function, establishing high standards for model data quality, auditability, documentation, and speed to insight.
Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, FP&A, financial modeling, management consulting, or corporate strategy within a medium-to-large corporate environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field required.
- Financial Modeling Mastery: Advanced, expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex financial logic, scenario modeling, data cleansing) with a proven track record of building driver-based P&L and operational capacity models from scratch.
- People Management: Prior experience managing direct reports or demonstrated readiness to mentor, delegate to, and develop junior analysts.
- Systems & Data Architecture: Fluency with enterprise financial systems (i.e., Oracle EPM); business intelligence/data analytics tool development experience preferred (i.e., Power BI, Tableau).
- Business Acumen & Communication: Exceptional executive presence with the ability to build trust with General Managers, challenge assumptions constructively, and present complex quantitative findings clearly to senior leadership.
- Process Improvement Mindset: Proactive approach to identifying manual data friction, automating reporting workflows, and establishing robust governance frameworks.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship in Strategy Lead
Document your strategic planning credentials early
Gather performance reviews, board presentations, and measurable outcomes from past strategy engagements before applying. PERM audits frequently target Strategy Lead roles, so contemporaneous evidence of your specialized contributions strengthens the employer's case considerably.
Target employers with PERM filing history
Use Migrate Mate to filter Strategy Lead roles by employers who have filed PERM applications in the past, so you're talking to companies that already understand the sponsorship process rather than educating them from scratch.
Verify your role meets EB-2 advanced-degree requirements
Cross-reference the O*NET occupation profile for Strategy Managers against your job duties to confirm the position normally requires a master's degree or equivalent. Misalignment between posted duties and your actual scope is a common PERM audit trigger.
Understand how prevailing wage affects your offer
Your employer must file a prevailing wage determination with DOL before starting PERM. Check the OFLC Wage Search for your specific SOC code and metropolitan area so your negotiated offer meets or exceeds the certified wage level before the process begins.
Negotiate PERM initiation into your offer timeline
Strategy Lead hiring cycles can stretch six to twelve months. Ask your prospective employer to commit to filing PERM within a defined window after your start date, because the labor certification itself can take over a year before you even reach the I-140 stage.
Distinguish EB-2 NIW self-petition eligibility for your role
If your strategy work has national-scope impact, such as directing policy for a healthcare system or critical infrastructure, you may qualify for a National Interest Waiver self-petition through USCIS, removing the employer-sponsored PERM requirement entirely.
Green Card Strategy Lead: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Strategy Lead role qualify for EB-2 or EB-3 green card sponsorship?
Strategy Lead positions typically qualify for EB-2 when the employer's minimum requirement is a master's degree or a bachelor's degree plus at least five years of progressive experience in strategic planning. If the role is defined at the bachelor's degree level, EB-3 professional is the appropriate category. The distinction matters because EB-2 has shorter priority date queues for most nationalities.
How is PERM green card sponsorship different from H-1B for a Strategy Lead?
H-1B visa is a temporary status with a six-year base limit and an annual lottery cap. PERM-based green card sponsorship leads to permanent residency with no renewal cycle and no cap exposure at the petition stage. The tradeoff is time: PERM labor certification alone can take one to two years before USCIS adjudicates the I-140, making early employer commitment critical for Strategy Lead candidates.
What makes PERM audits more likely for Strategy Lead job descriptions?
DOL audits Strategy Lead and related management titles more frequently because the duties are broad and harder to define as a specific specialty occupation. Vague language like 'develop business strategies' without measurable scope, budget authority, or cross-functional deliverables increases audit risk. Employers should work with counsel to write precise job requirements tied to actual organizational accountability.
How can I find Strategy Lead jobs where employers are already open to green card sponsorship?
Migrate Mate lets you search Strategy Lead openings filtered by employers with verified PERM filing history, so you're not starting the sponsorship conversation from zero. Approaching companies that have already navigated PERM for similar roles dramatically shortens the internal approval cycle and reduces the chance that HR declines on process-unfamiliarity grounds.
Can I switch employers after my I-140 is approved but before I receive my green card?
Yes. Under AC21 portability, once your I-140 has been approved for 180 days or more and your adjustment of status application is pending, you can move to a new employer in the same or similar occupational classification without losing your priority date. For Strategy Lead roles, the new position must involve comparable strategic planning and management responsibilities to satisfy the same-or-similar standard that USCIS applies.
