Territory Sales Manager Green Card Jobs
Territory Sales Manager roles qualify for EB-2 and EB-3 green card sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process, which lets U.S. employers permanently sponsor foreign professionals. Employers file an I-140 petition after PERM approval, and priority dates determine when you can adjust status to lawful permanent residency.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding Green Card Sponsorship as a Territory Sales Manager
Document your sales credentials before applying
Gather performance reviews, quota attainment records, and territory revenue data before you start outreach. PERM requires your employer to verify your qualifications meet the job's minimum requirements, so concrete evidence of your sales track record strengthens the case from day one.
Target employers with active PERM filing history
Search the DOL's OFLC disclosure database for companies that have filed PERM applications under sales management SOC codes. Employers already familiar with the PERM process move faster and are less likely to withdraw sponsorship mid-process due to cost or complexity concerns.
Use Migrate Mate to find sponsoring employers
Filter Territory Sales Manager roles by green card sponsorship history on Migrate Mate. Focusing your search on employers who have completed PERM filings for comparable roles cuts down the time you spend educating hiring managers about the process.
Understand whether your role qualifies for EB-2 or EB-3
Territory Sales Manager positions typically qualify under EB-3 as skilled workers, but if your employer writes the role to require an advanced degree or you have equivalent credentials, EB-2 may apply. Your category affects your priority date and, for some nationalities, your wait time significantly.
Get your prevailing wage confirmed early in the offer stage
Ask your employer to run a prevailing wage determination through OFLC Wage Search before finalizing your offer letter. Your PERM-approved wage must match or exceed the DOL-certified prevailing wage for your territory and job zone, and surprises here can delay or derail the entire filing.
Track your priority date against the Visa Bulletin
Once your I-140 is approved, USCIS assigns a priority date that controls when you can file for adjustment of status. For most countries at the EB-3 level, wait times are manageable, but nationals of India and China face longer backlogs and should factor this into career planning.

Find Territory Sales Manager JobsTerritory Sales Manager Green Card Sponsorship: Frequently Asked Questions
Do Territory Sales Manager roles commonly qualify for green card sponsorship?
Yes. Territory Sales Manager is classified as a skilled occupation under DOL guidelines, making it eligible for EB-3 sponsorship through the PERM labor certification process. Employers in industries like medical devices, manufacturing, software, and distribution regularly sponsor this role. If the position requires an advanced degree or you hold one with specialized credentials, EB-2 may also apply.
How does green card sponsorship differ from H-1B sponsorship for sales roles?
Green card sponsorship through PERM leads to permanent residency rather than a temporary work visa. There is no annual lottery for EB-3 petitions, so your employer can file anytime. The process takes longer overall, typically two to four years depending on your nationality and priority date, but it removes the renewal uncertainty that comes with H-1B status every three years.
What does the PERM process look like for a Territory Sales Manager position?
Your employer must conduct a supervised recruitment campaign to demonstrate no qualified U.S. workers are available for the role. This includes job postings, newspaper ads, and internal notices. Once DOL certifies the PERM application, your employer files an I-140 immigrant petition with USCIS. You can file for adjustment of status once your priority date becomes current in the Visa Bulletin.
How can I find Territory Sales Manager jobs that offer green card sponsorship?
Search for roles using Migrate Mate, which filters Territory Sales Manager positions by employers with documented green card sponsorship history. This saves significant time compared to applying broadly and discovering late in the interview process that a company has never sponsored a PERM case or is unwilling to cover the associated legal and filing costs.
Can my employer use O*NET data to define the Territory Sales Manager role for PERM purposes?
Employers and their immigration attorneys often reference O*NET to establish the job zone, typical education requirements, and skill profile for a Territory Sales Manager position when drafting the PERM job description. The job must reflect what the role genuinely requires, since DOL auditors compare the PERM description against the O*NET profile and the employer's actual job posting during the recruitment phase.
