Overview:

Credit Genie is looking for its first dedicated Organic Marketing hire, a strategic and hands-on leader who will build our organic acquisition engine from the ground up, spanning SEO, AEO, and content. This is a rare opportunity to define Credit Genie's organic growth strategy and execute it end-to-end for a fast-growing fintech.

We're looking for someone who is equal parts strategist and executor: able to build the SEO/AEO roadmap and topic strategy, and also roll up their sleeves to research, write, publish, and optimize the content that drives it. You'll own organic growth end-to-end — from keyword and topic research, to technical SEO and structured data, to writing and publishing high-quality, search, and answer-engine-optimized content, to measuring results and iterating.

What You'll Do:

You will work closely with design, growth marketing, product marketing, research, data, engineering, social media, compliance, and product teams to build a cohesive organic growth strategy for Credit Genie. If you can think strategically about search and answer engines, write compelling content yourself, move quickly, and connect content to measurable organic growth — this role is for you.

• Own Credit Genie's organic growth strategy end-to-end, including the SEO/AEO roadmap, topic and keyword strategy, and editorial calendar — and execute it yourself from research through publishing.

• Write and produce high-quality SEO/AEO optimized content across all channels including blogs, website pages, in-app copy, and guides, with a focus on content built to rank in search and get cited by AI answer engines.

• Drive technical and on-page SEO, partnering with engineering on site architecture, structured data and schema markup, crawlability, and Core Web Vitals to support organic visibility.

• Manage and optimize the SEO/AEO ecosystem using tools like Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs or SEMrush to track rankings, traffic, and answer-engine citations, turning findings into action.

• Translate briefs, insights, and product requirements into compelling, on-brand copy that supports organic growth and business goals.

• Maintain and evolve brand voice, ensuring consistency, clarity, and trust across every touchpoint.

• Leverage AI tools for ideation, drafting, and optimization while refining outputs to meet quality, compliance, and SEO/AEO standards.

• Analyze performance and optimize content, using data to improve engagement, acquisition, and conversion across channels.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience managing content marketing in a B2C environment

• Proven track record of writing and editing skills across multiple formats

• Fluency in SEO content best practices. Hands-on experience with SEO/analytics tooling (Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs/SEMrush/Moz, Screaming Frog)

• Track record of measurable organic growth (e.g., specific traffic, ranking, or share-of-voice gains)

• Familiarity with emerging AEO/GEO practices like structured data and optimizing for AI-generated answers

• Comfort using AI tools for ideation, drafting, and optimization

• Exceptional attention to detail and brand voice; experienced in refining AI-generated content to maintain clarity, compliance, style consistency, and brand integrity

• Strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You can write, analyze, and execute as effectively as you can plan.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments where you can help create structure and influence outcomes.

• Experience in fintech, financial wellness, or adjacent industries is a plus.

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Base salary is just one part of your total compensation and rewards package at Credit Genie. You may also be eligible to participate in the bonus and equity programs. Compensation Range: $170K - $190K
