Founded by the team behind IntSights (acquired by Rapid7), PointFive recently closed a $60M Series B led by Accel, with participation from Entrée Capital and Salesforce Ventures.
About the Role
This is PointFive's first growth hire, and you'll own the demand engine end to end—from paid and lifecycle marketing to outbound orchestration and pipeline reporting. You'll report directly to the CRO with real latitude to decide what to run, what to kill, and where the next dollar goes, collaborating with colleagues across the globe as well as contractors and paid media agencies that you'll manage day to day.
What You'll Do
Own paid media. Run Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, and any other channel you’re interested in testing —strategy, budget allocation, creative direction, and results.
Build email and lifecycle marketing
Run integrated campaigns and field events across paid, email, and outbound, owning the pre- and post-event motion
Orchestrate outbound with sales, aligning targeting, sequences, signals, and content so outbound and marketing pull in the same direction.
Own pipeline measurement and reporting, building it yourself across HubSpot, Salesforce, Snowflake, Google Analytics, and Common Room to show what's actually creating pipeline.
Improve the website and conversion path, from traffic to conversion rate to the path from first visit to qualified meeting.
What We're Looking For
Must-have
5+ years in B2B growth or demand generation; bachelor's degree.
Hands-on-keyboard experience building campaigns, pulling data, and shipping work yourself—this isn't a role that manages a team into results.
Comfort working technically and operationally in HubSpot, Salesforce, and ad platforms, with the ability to work with data directly; SQL or Snowflake experience is a real advantage.
A curious, fast working style—testing, reading data honestly, and changing course without being told to.
High work ethic and high ownership; this is a small team with a big surface area and no passengers.
Nice to have
Experience marketing technical products to technical personas, especially engineering or platform teams
Familiarity with both PLG and sales-led GTM models
FinOps, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools background
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $185,000 - $210,000 USD annually.
Health, dental, vision (yes, all three!), equity in something early-stage and exciting, generous PTO, 401K, meal & commuter benefits, a team that will actually challenge you and much more
Why PointFive
Build a function, not inherit one. You'll report to the CRO, sit close to revenue, and see the direct line between what you run and what closes.
Real latitude from day one. You decide what to run, what to kill, and where the next dollar goes, backed by contractors and an agency you manage.
A proving ground for your next step. If your goal is to run marketing as a VP or CMO, this is the job where you show you can.
Equal Opportunity Statement
PointFive is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome candidates from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to apply.

Growth Marketing Manager Jobs in Boston: Frequently Asked Questions
How do I get a growth marketing manager job in Boston?
Focus your search on Boston's Seaport District, Kendall Square, and the Back Bay, where life sciences, SaaS, and fintech employers concentrate their marketing teams. Candidates with experience in performance marketing, product-led growth, or B2B demand generation stand out in this market. Building familiarity with Boston's dense startup ecosystem and its connection to major research institutions also gives you a measurable edge over generalist applicants.
Which companies hire growth marketing managers in Boston?
Boston growth marketing manager roles are posted by Whoop, Bevi, and Zappi and others right now, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Boston's hiring mix leans heavily toward venture-backed startups, established biotech and medtech firms, and regional fintech companies that run in-house growth teams rather than outsourcing to agencies.
Are there remote growth marketing manager jobs in Boston?
Yes, growth marketing manager work is largely desk-based and analytical, making it well-suited to remote and hybrid arrangements. About 81% of growth marketing manager openings tied to Boston are remote or hybrid as of September 2026, reflecting how widely distributed these teams have become. Channel management, paid acquisition, and analytics-heavy functions are the functions most commonly offered with location flexibility by Boston employers.
How can I get a growth marketing manager job in Boston with little or no experience?
The most realistic entry path in Boston is landing a growth marketing associate or marketing analyst role at one of the city's many early-stage startups, particularly those clustered in the Seaport or Cambridge. These companies often promote from within quickly and value hands-on experimentation over credentials. Lateral moves from paid media specialist or email marketing coordinator roles at Boston agencies or mid-size tech companies are another common stepping stone into a manager-level position.
Which industries hire the most growth marketing managers in Boston?
Boston growth marketing manager roles concentrate in Technology & Software, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of September 2026. Boston's unusually dense life sciences sector, combined with a mature SaaS ecosystem anchored in Kendall Square and the Seaport, drives consistent demand for growth marketers who can work across long sales cycles and highly regulated product categories.
