🌍 We’re making security suck less for developers. Security tools haven’t kept up with how software is built today. They interrupt teams, slow releases, and turn security into a bottleneck instead of a capability. We built Aikido to change that. Aikido builds developer-first security products that reduce real risk without getting in the way of shipping software. We focus on what actually matters and automate the rest. We’re taking on legacy security tools teams have been stuck with, and we’re winning. If you want to help us take market share and build products developers actually enjoy using, you’re in the right place. Founded in 2022 by third-time founders, Aikido has $85M in the bank, a long runway ahead, and unicorn status. We’re building toward self-securing software. Join an all-star team. Take real ownership. Push boundaries. Build things that matter.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We're looking for a Developer Growth Marketing Manager to build and scale net-new pipeline channels for Aikido beyond our core paid channels (Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit). This role is all about experimentation in the developer ecosystem: finding and proving out new ways to reach developers and security teams through the channels they actually trust, like creators, communities, and peer-driven programs.
- Identify, test, and scale other new growth channels: hackathons, sponsorships, community events, pop-up activations, etc.
- Build and grow an affiliate program to drive referral-based pipeline.
- Build partnerships with developer influencers and creators to expand reach and trust.
- Build relationships with security communities and developer ecosystems.
- Design and launch experiments to validate new channels, with clear pipeline/awareness metrics.
- Support and help organize event-based activations (conferences, hackathons, sponsorships, pop-ups).
- Work with sales to ensure new-channel activity translates into qualified pipeline.
- Manage budgets and ROI tracking across experimental channels.
- Build repeatable playbooks for channels that prove successful.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years in growth and developer marketing.
- Strong understanding of developer audiences and what makes them trust a brand.
- Existing network or experience working with developer influencers/creators and communities.
- Experience building and scaling net-new acquisition channels from scratch.
- Comfortable with ambiguity: testing, killing, and doubling down on channels based on data.
- Strong project management skills for running events/sponsorships/activations.
- Experience in cybersecurity, developer tools, or DevOps is a strong plus.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- High-impact position in a fast-growing company.
- Fast growth of responsibility.
- Competitive salary package.
- A company that sticks to its values in an open and informal atmosphere (see our culture page on the website for more details).
- Flexibility in working hours.
You will be recruited based on competencies. Qualities of people are decisive, regardless of gender, religion, ethnic origin, age, sexual orientation, or disability.

Tips for Your Growth Marketing Manager Job Search
Quantify every funnel metric you own
Growth marketing roles live and die by numbers. For each position on your resume, include the specific metric you owned, the channel or experiment you ran, and the directional result. Hiring managers expect CAC, LTV, and conversion rate language, not vague campaign descriptions.
Match your resume to the growth stage
A Series A startup wants a generalist who can run paid, email, and SEO simultaneously. A late-stage company wants a specialist. Read the job description for team size and reporting structure, then reframe your experience to match that growth stage before you apply.
Apply early to roles that fit
Migrate Mate lists growth marketing manager openings from across the United States in one place, so you can find roles that match and apply directly to each listing.
Build a case study before your screen
Most growth marketing interviews include a take-home or live audit. Before your first phone screen, prepare a one-page teardown of the company's current acquisition funnel, identifying one underperforming channel and your hypothesis for improving it. Bringing this unsolicited sets you apart immediately.
Negotiate scope before negotiating title
In growth roles, your leverage is the channels and budget you control. Before accepting an offer, confirm in writing which acquisition channels you own, whether you have headcount or agency budget, and what your first 90-day targets look like. Vague scope leads to misaligned expectations fast.
Address attribution gaps in your follow-up
After a final interview, send a follow-up that references one specific attribution or measurement challenge the team mentioned and briefly describes how you would approach it. It demonstrates systems thinking, which is the capability growth hiring managers say is hardest to assess from a resume alone.
Growth Marketing Manager Jobs: Frequently Asked Questions
Which companies are hiring the most growth marketing managers?
The companies hiring the most growth marketing managers right now include Thermo Fisher Scientific, Amazon, and TikTok, with the largest share of openings in California, New York, and Massachusetts, based on current listings on Migrate Mate as of June 2026. Technology, fintech, and e-commerce companies consistently account for the largest share of active openings.
How many growth marketing manager jobs are remote?
About 37% of growth marketing manager openings are fully remote or hybrid as of June 2026, making it one of the more location-flexible marketing leadership roles. Demand generation and lifecycle marketing specializations within the role tend to skew most remote, while growth roles tied to product or sales teams often require at least partial in-office presence.
How do you become a growth marketing manager?
Start by building hands-on experience in one or two acquisition channels, such as paid search, email, or SEO, in a coordinator or specialist role. Learn to read and act on funnel data using tools like Google Analytics or a CRM. Move into owning a channel budget, then expand into cross-channel experiments. A portfolio of measurable results, not just job titles, is what advances growth careers.
Can you get a growth marketing manager job with little experience?
Breaking into growth marketing management with limited experience is possible if you can demonstrate analytical thinking and measurable results from any marketing work you have done. Build a portfolio of experiments you ran independently, freelance projects, or documented results from entry-level roles. Applying to growth marketing manager roles at early-stage startups, where generalist skills matter more than years, is often the most practical entry point.
What does the growth marketing manager interview process look like?
Most growth marketing manager interview processes include a recruiter screen, a hiring manager conversation focused on past results and funnel thinking, and a take-home or live case study where you audit a real acquisition channel or propose a growth experiment. Final rounds typically involve meeting cross-functional partners in product or sales and sometimes a presentation to leadership. Expect questions about attribution, budget allocation, and how you prioritize experiments.
Where can I find and apply to growth marketing manager jobs?
You can find and apply to growth marketing manager jobs on Migrate Mate, which lists current openings from across the United States. Find roles that match your experience and specialization, then apply directly to each listing. Openings are updated regularly, so checking back frequently gives you access to the most current opportunities before they close.
