H-1B Visa Casino Supervisor Jobs
Casino Supervisor roles sit in a specialized corner of the H-1B landscape: the position must qualify as a specialty occupation requiring a bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field. Most sponsoring employers are large gaming operators or resort hotel groups with established HR and immigration infrastructure.

Verify your role qualifies as specialty occupation
Pull the Casino Supervisor O*NET profile and confirm your job duties align with the specialty occupation definition USCIS applies. Supervisory gaming roles are sometimes challenged, so documenting the degree requirement in the job description before filing matters.
Target employers with E-Verify enrollment first
Large casino and resort operators enrolled in E-Verify have existing compliance infrastructure, which signals they're equipped to sponsor H-1B workers. Smaller gaming venues often lack the HR capacity to navigate the petition process for supervisory hires.
Search verified H-1B sponsors on Migrate Mate
Filter Casino Supervisor roles on Migrate Mate to surface employers with confirmed H-1B filing history in gaming and hospitality. This saves time you'd otherwise spend cold-contacting employers who've never filed a petition for this occupation.
Request prevailing wage documentation before signing an offer
Use the OFLC Wage Search to look up the prevailing wage for Casino Supervisor in your intended work location before accepting an offer. Your employer's LCA must certify a wage at or above that level, and negotiating after the petition is filed is harder.
Prepare a degree equivalency package if your credential is foreign
USCIS scrutinizes foreign hospitality or business degrees for Casino Supervisor petitions. Get a credential evaluation from a NACES-member evaluator and assemble transcripts showing coursework directly relevant to gaming operations management before your employer files.
Understand the cap timing if you're switching from OPT
If you're on F-1 OPT, your employer must register you in the H-1B lottery by late March for an October 1 start date. A 60-day grace period applies if your OPT ends before October 1, but your employer needs to be ready to file on April 1 if selected.

Find Casino Supervisor JobsCasino Supervisor H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Casino Supervisor role qualify as an H-1B specialty occupation?
It can, but it's not automatic. USCIS requires the position to normally demand at least a bachelor's degree in a specific field such as hospitality management, business administration, or a related discipline. The employer's job description must document why a degree is a standard requirement for the role, not merely preferred. Generic supervisory duties without a degree requirement won't meet the standard.
Which types of employers sponsor H-1B visas for Casino Supervisor positions?
Large integrated resort operators, tribal gaming enterprises with significant non-gaming hospitality operations, and hotel-casino groups with established legal and HR teams are the most common sponsors. These employers file petitions regularly and have existing immigration counsel. Smaller standalone casinos or card rooms rarely have the infrastructure to sponsor H-1B workers for supervisory roles. Migrate Mate filters employers by verified H-1B filing history so you can target the right companies.
How does the H-1B prevailing wage requirement apply to Casino Supervisor jobs?
Your employer must file a Labor Condition Application with DOL certifying your offered wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage for Casino Supervisor in your work location. The prevailing wage is determined by the DOL using the Standard Occupational Classification code for gaming supervisors. You can check the applicable wage level using the OFLC Wage Search before negotiating your offer to confirm the employer's figure meets the DOL threshold.
Can my employer file an H-1B petition for a Casino Supervisor role outside the annual lottery?
Only in specific circumstances. Cap-exempt employers such as universities, nonprofit research organizations, or government research entities can file outside the lottery, but most commercial casino and resort operators are cap-subject. If you've previously been counted against the H-1B cap and have a prior approval, your employer may be able to file a transfer petition without re-entering the lottery, depending on your situation and USCIS guidance.
What documentation should I gather before my employer files an H-1B petition for a Casino Supervisor position?
Collect your degree transcripts and diploma, a credential evaluation if your degree is from outside the U.S., any professional certifications relevant to gaming operations, and an updated resume detailing supervisory responsibilities tied to your degree field. Your employer will also need a detailed job description connecting the role's duties to the specific degree requirement. USCIS may issue a Request for Evidence for supervisory gaming roles, so having this documentation organized before filing reduces processing delays.
