H-1B Visa Gtm Strategy Lead Jobs
GTM Strategy Lead roles qualify for H-1B visa sponsorship as specialty occupations requiring a bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field. Global Talent Acquisition
This Is Not a Back-Office Recruiting Role
This is a front-line, high-impact role for recruiters who know how to win, who can partner with senior leaders, and who want their work to matter beyond filling seats. At Axon, we don't recruit for "jobs." We recruit for a mission: to protect life, build trust, and create safer communities. We move fast, we think big, and we expect our recruiters to bring swagger, boldness, and grit to the table. If you're the kind of recruiter who thrives on hard searches, strong opinions, data-backed decisions, and telling leaders the truth—you'll fit right in.
Your Impact
As a Senior GTM Recruiter at Axon, you will own full-cycle recruiting for high-impact sales roles that directly fuel our growth and mission. You'll act as a talent advisor, not an order-taker—shaping role profiles, influencing hiring decisions, and building pipelines that scale with the business. You'll partner with driven sales leaders, operate with urgency and accountability, and help raise the bar for what "great" looks like across our sales organization. Recruiting here is a team sport, but ownership matters—and you'll have plenty of it.
This role is based out of our Boston, MA office and follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation. We believe that connection fuels innovation, and our in-office culture is designed to foster meaningful teamwork, mentorship, and shared success.

- Use data and market insight to guide decisions, challenge assumptions, and improve hiring outcomes.

- Continuously test, measure, and improve recruiting strategies, tools, and workflows.
- Deliver a candidate experience that reflects Axon's brand—direct, respectful, fast, and human.
- Build trust with hiring leaders by being decisive, candid, and solutions-oriented.
- Drive inclusive hiring by proactively sourcing diverse talent and embedding equity throughout the hiring process.

The Bottom Line
If you're a recruiter who wants comfort, predictability, and guardrails—this probably isn't it.
If you want ownership, influence, swagger, and impact—welcome to Axon.

Get Access To All JobsTips for Finding H-1B Visa Sponsorship in Gtm Strategy Lead
Map your degree to the role
USCIS requires your degree field to align directly with GTM Strategy Lead duties. A marketing, business, or economics degree maps cleanly, but an unrelated major weakens your petition. Document how your coursework connects to go-to-market planning specifically.
Search LCA filings by occupation code
GTM Strategy Lead roles typically file under SOC codes for Marketing Managers or Management Analysts. Use the OFLC Wage Search to find employers who have certified LCAs for those codes, which confirms active H-1B sponsorship history in strategy functions.
Target companies with cap-exempt pathways
Universities, nonprofit research organizations, and government-affiliated entities are cap-exempt, meaning they can sponsor H-1B workers outside the annual lottery. GTM roles exist at these institutions, particularly in research commercialization and technology transfer offices.
Find verified H-1B sponsors on Migrate Mate
Filter GTM Strategy Lead listings on Migrate Mate to surface employers with confirmed H-1B filing history. This cuts through job postings that don't address sponsorship and puts you in front of companies already familiar with the LCA and I-129 process.
Negotiate offer timing around the H-1B cap
Cap-subject H-1B petitions must be filed in April for an October 1 start. If you receive an offer in May, your earliest start is the following October. Confirm with your employer that they'll hold the role through that gap before accepting.
Verify prevailing wage before the offer stage
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for your SOC code and work location. Pull the current Level II or III wage from the OFLC Wage Search for your metro area so you can verify the offer meets the LCA wage requirement before signing.
H-1B Visa Gtm Strategy Lead: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a GTM Strategy Lead role qualify as a specialty occupation for H-1B purposes?
Yes, GTM Strategy Lead positions qualify when the employer can demonstrate the role normally requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a specific field such as business, marketing, or strategy. Roles with cross-functional leadership responsibilities and defined analytical or planning functions typically satisfy USCIS's specialty occupation standard more clearly than generalist titles.
Which employers sponsor H-1B visas for GTM Strategy Lead roles?
Technology companies, SaaS platforms, enterprise software firms, and growth-stage startups regularly sponsor H-1B visas for GTM Strategy Leads. You can identify employers with active sponsorship history by searching Migrate Mate, which surfaces companies that have filed Labor Condition Applications for strategy and marketing leadership roles.
How does the H-1B lottery affect my timeline for a GTM Strategy Lead position?
Cap-subject H-1B petitions are filed in April and, if selected, authorize work starting October 1. If you're interviewing outside that window, your employer needs to be willing to wait for the next filing cycle or explore cap-exempt options. Aligning your job search to secure an offer by February or March gives both sides adequate preparation time.
What O*NET occupation code applies to GTM Strategy Lead for H-1B purposes?
GTM Strategy Lead roles typically map to Marketing Managers (O*NET code 11-2021.00) or Management Analysts (13-1111.00), depending on how the employer defines the position. The SOC code the employer selects determines the prevailing wage level that must appear on the LCA, so it's worth confirming which code they intend to use before the petition is filed.
Can I transfer my H-1B to a new GTM Strategy Lead role without losing my place in the queue?
Yes, H-1B portability under AC21 lets you transfer to a new employer in a same or similar occupational classification after your I-140 has been approved and your petition has been pending for 180 days. GTM Strategy Lead roles at a new company can qualify if the SOC code and job duties are substantially similar to your prior position.
