About The Team
The Marketing Operations team is responsible for the systems, processes, and data infrastructure that power the global marketing engine at Stripe. Our work spans campaign operations, marketing automation, prospect data management, and cross-functional program delivery.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We're looking for a Marketing Operations Program Manager to own and drive critical operational programs across campaign execution, prospect data management, and marketing process improvement. This role sits at the intersection of marketing technology, data operations, and program management—and requires someone who can move fluidly between strategic planning and hands-on execution. You will serve as a process owner for key marketing operations workstreams, partnering with stakeholders across marketing, sales, and engineering to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, data quality, and pipeline impact.
- Embed within the regional marketing team to deeply understand and represent market nuances, and be the primary representative for Marketing Operations initiatives
- Serve as the process owner for campaign execution workflows across email, landing pages, and paid media, supporting Growth, Lifecycle, and Global Campaigns marketing teams
- Consult on best practices in Marketo, with a focus on automation, scalability, and operational design. Design complex nurture and trigger campaigns and standardize them for broader use
- Lead programs to address recurring operational challenges. Define objectives, success metrics, and build repeatable processes that scale
- Serve as a technical bridge between regional marketing, product, and engineering teams to scope business requirements, coordinate discovery, and translate operational needs into product requirements for internal tooling
- Drive regional performance transparency by analyzing pipeline health and marketing database trends. Proactively identify and unblock operational friction through collaboration with cross-functional teams
- Accelerate review cycles, pilots, and feedback collection during program execution. Summarize required changes, identify launch-blocking issues, and escalate risks as needed
- Drive ongoing improvements in marketing operations through process innovation, automation, and the adoption of AI-powered tools to increase productivity and transform workflows
- Maintain scalable documentation and support coordination with offshore production teams and cross-functional partners across time zones

- 3+ years of experience working day-to-day with marketing automation platforms, CRM platforms, prospect data, and lead management

- Experience building AI agents, including examples of agents you have deployed and examples of ways you are using AI on a daily basis beyond chat
- 3+ years of experience doing your own analysis using queries, dashboards, and AI, and partnering with analysts and data scientists for more complex analytics needs
- 3+ years of experience defining your own scope and goals, and collaborating with a distributed, global team to deliver on them
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex operational concepts to diverse stakeholders across marketing, sales, and engineering

- Experience selecting and managing third-party data providers for B2B contact enrichment and prospecting

In-office expectations
Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. For example, Stripes in Stripe Delivery Center roles in Mexico City, Mexico, Bengaluru, India, and Dublin, Ireland work 100% from the office. Also, some teams have greater in-office attendance requirements, to appropriately support our users and workflows, which the hiring manager will discuss. This approach helps strike a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility when possible.
PAY AND BENEFITS
The annual US base salary range for this role is $157,800 - $236,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.

Audit your degree against the role
USCIS scrutinizes whether your degree field directly relates to marketing operations. A degree in marketing, business analytics, or information systems strengthens your case. A general business degree may require a detailed explanation of coursework alignment in your petition.
Look up prevailing wages before negotiating
Use the OFLC Wage Search to find the prevailing wage for Marketing Operations Manager in your target metro. Your offer must meet or exceed this level for DOL to certify the LCA, and knowing the floor prevents mismatched offers from stalling your petition.
Target employers with active LCA filing history
Use Migrate Mate to filter Marketing Operations Manager roles by verified H-1B filing history. This surfaces employers who have already navigated the LCA certification process for this occupation, reducing the risk of joining a company unfamiliar with sponsorship requirements.
Flag martech complexity in your petition
Marketing operations roles managing platforms like Salesforce, Marketo, or HubSpot carry stronger specialty occupation arguments. Your employer's support letter should document the technical systems you oversee, since USCIS weighs tool complexity when evaluating degree necessity for the position.
Clarify transfer timelines before accepting an offer
If you're transferring an existing H-1B, portability lets you start work once the new petition is filed, not after approval. Confirm your prospective employer understands this and can file before your current status expires to avoid any gap in authorization.
Verify the company's E-Verify enrollment early
H-1B employers are required to be E-Verify participants. Ask HR to confirm enrollment before you invest time in the interview process. Unenrolled companies cannot legally employ H-1B workers, and enrollment takes time they may not have accounted for.
H-1B Visa Marketing Operations Manager: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Marketing Operations Manager role qualify as an H-1B specialty occupation?
Yes, if the position requires a bachelor's degree or higher in a directly related field such as marketing, business administration, or marketing technology. Roles that primarily involve managing automation platforms, attribution systems, or CRM infrastructure have a strong specialty occupation argument because the technical complexity requires specific theoretical knowledge from a degree program.
How do I find employers actively sponsoring H-1B visas for this role?
Migrate Mate surfaces Marketing Operations Manager positions at employers with verified H-1B LCA filing history, so you're not guessing which companies are open to sponsorship. Filtering by role title and filing history before applying saves significant time and helps you focus outreach on employers already familiar with the process.
What does my employer need to prove to the DOL when filing my LCA?
Your employer must certify through the DOL's Labor Condition Application that your offered wage meets or exceeds the prevailing wage for a Marketing Operations Manager in your work location, and that hiring you won't adversely affect working conditions for similarly employed U.S. workers. The LCA must be certified before USCIS can process your I-129 petition.
Can I change employers or move to a more senior marketing operations role while on H-1B?
You can change employers using H-1B portability once your new employer files an I-129 transfer petition while your current status is valid. Moving into a Director of Marketing Operations role may require an amended petition if the job duties, location, or salary level change substantially from what USCIS originally approved.
Does the O*NET classification for this role affect my H-1B petition?
The O*NET occupation profile for Marketing Operations Manager is often referenced to establish job zone and degree requirements. USCIS adjudicators use it alongside the job description to assess whether a bachelor's degree is a standard entry requirement. Aligning your employer's job posting with the O*NET task list strengthens the specialty occupation argument in the petition.
