About us
Solar Landscape is the leading commercial rooftop solar developer in the U.S. Only 4% of commercial rooftops host solar today — we’re changing that, fast. Commercial rooftop solar is the fastest, smartest way to build new clean power — delivering megawatts of generation in months, not years, and powering America’s energy and future right where it’s needed most. By turning rooftops into local power plants, we’re reshaping how — and how fast — energy gets built in the U.S.
Recognized as the #1 Distributed Generation Developer by New Project Media, the #1 National Commercial Rooftop Solar Developer by Solar Power World, and winner of the U.S. Department of Energy’s Grand Prize for Clean Energy, Solar Landscape is defining the future of energy generation in America.
Headquartered in Asbury Park, New Jersey, Solar Landscape has offices in Chicago, Baltimore, and New York City and operates in over a dozen states nationwide.
We move fast, solve hard problems, and take our work seriously — but never ourselves. We value clear thinking, accountability, and execution. At the same time, we’re collaborative by default, and believe the best work happens when people enjoy working together. Our team is made up of smart, grounded people who show up for each other — whether that’s troubleshooting a system design or catching up over lunch.
If you’re looking to do meaningful work in a high-performance environment — and be part of the team reshaping how energy gets built in the U.S. — we’d love to meet you.

Verify your degree supports the petition
USCIS scrutinizes Program Analyst petitions closely because the role spans multiple degree fields. Pull your O*NET occupation profile and confirm your specific degree title aligns with the job duties your employer describes in the LCA.
Check prevailing wage before accepting offers
Run the OFLC Wage Search using SOC code 13-1111 and the employer's county before signing anything. Your offered salary must meet the prevailing wage for your worksite location, not the employer's headquarters city.
Target federal contractors and cap-exempt employers
Government contractors and nonprofit research organizations sponsoring Program Analysts often file outside the annual H-1B cap. Prioritize employers with active government contracts or university affiliations to avoid lottery risk entirely.
Search H-1B filing history on Migrate Mate
Filter by Program Analyst roles on Migrate Mate to see which employers have active DOL LCA filing history for this occupation. That filing history tells you which companies are genuinely set up to sponsor, not just open to it in theory.
Flag your worksite arrangement early in negotiations
If your role involves client sites or hybrid locations, your employer must file a separate LCA for each worksite. Raise this before the offer stage so USCIS compliance doesn't delay your start date after you've already resigned elsewhere.
Align your start date with the H-1B cap timeline
Cap-subject H-1B petitions can't start employment before October 1. If you're negotiating a start date after a March lottery selection, build a gap into your offer letter so both sides understand the earliest lawful start date.

Find Program Analyst JobsProgram Analyst H-1B Visa: Frequently Asked Questions
Does a Program Analyst role qualify as an H-1B specialty occupation?
It depends on how the employer defines the position. A Program Analyst role qualifies if the employer can demonstrate that a specific bachelor's degree field, such as information systems, business administration, or public policy, is a normal requirement for that particular job. Generic analyst duties without a degree requirement won't survive USCIS scrutiny, so the job description and LCA must be written precisely.
Which employers sponsor H-1B visas for Program Analyst positions?
Federal agencies, government contractors, consulting firms, and nonprofits with analytical functions are the most consistent H-1B sponsors for Program Analyst roles. Government contractors in particular file frequently because the work is tied to federal contracts requiring ongoing analytical support. Use Migrate Mate to search employers with verified DOL LCA filing history specifically for Program Analyst and related analyst occupations.
What happens to my H-1B status if my Program Analyst contract ends?
You get a 60-day grace period from your last day of employment to find a new sponsoring employer, transfer your H-1B, or change to another visa status. During this window you can't work, but you can negotiate with a new employer and file an H-1B transfer petition. If your program is government-funded and the contract wasn't renewed, start your job search before the end date, not after.
Can a federal agency directly sponsor my H-1B as a Program Analyst?
Federal agencies are not cap-exempt in the same way universities or nonprofits are, but many federal contractors, who place analysts inside agency offices, do sponsor H-1B visas. If the hiring entity is a private firm with a government contract rather than the agency itself, standard H-1B sponsorship rules apply, including the annual cap and lottery unless the firm qualifies for a cap-exempt category.
How does the DOL prevailing wage apply to Program Analyst H-1B petitions?
Your employer must pay at least the DOL prevailing wage for the Program Analyst SOC code at your specific work location, not a national average. The OFLC Wage Search lets you look up the applicable wage level by county and job zone. Employers who underpay relative to the certified LCA wage risk DOL investigations and H-1B revocation, so verifying this number before your offer is finalized protects both you and your employer.
