Responsibilities include:
- Precept Family Medicine residents during assigned patient care sessions.
- Provide medical supervision for St. Joseph’s Family Medicine at Clifton during assigned precepting sessions.
- Participate in resident education through morning report, conferences, faculty meetings, and other educational activities.
- Serve as a resident advisor and advocate, including regular individual meetings, mentorship, and informal resident support.
- Participate in scholarly activity, research, and other academic initiatives.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities, team meetings, and committees.
- Provide occasional educational presentations to patients and members of the community.
- Share faculty on-call responsibilities, including providing medical backup to on-call residents during evenings and weekends.
- Support the ongoing development and advancement of the Family Medicine Residency Program.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide departmental coverage when necessary and appropriate based on qualifications.
